Cold War.

The Cold war was mainly between the Soviet Union and its satellite states against the powers of the Western world which was mainly the United States.

It was because of the continuing state of political conflict, military tension, proxy wars, and economic competition that still was occurring after WWII.

Cold War.

The name of the war was made because both sides were afraid of fighting each other directly.

They used words as weapons (threatening and accusing each other or made each other look foolish.) instead of nuclear bombs.

Decolonization.

When another country establishes a government or authority through settlements.

Countries formed instead of territories.
