LUTHERAN CHURCH Lansdale, Pennsylvania Completed 1999

This project involved the total renovation of

the interior of the existing church as well as

the addition of transepts and a chapel

which substantially increased the

seating capacity of the worship

space. The chapel was located

so that large glass doors can be

opened and the chapel can

serve as overflow seating with

good sight lines to the chancel

and choir. The chancel and choir

furnishings are movable to

provide for maximum flexibility. All

new classically detailed chancel

furnishings were designed

including a new white marble

font. A new lighting system was designed to

provide better reading light as well as

increase the focus on the chancel.
