30W Active-Clamp-Flyback(ACF) ith Gan FETs reference design
for a high power density AC/DC Wall Charger
Description 30W Charger uses the UCC28780 active clamp flyback controller to generate a
15V/12V/9V/5V adjustable output voltage. The maximum power rating is 30W at 15V
output, and up to 3A at 5V/9V output voltage settings. This design reaches a peak
efficiency of over 92% using GaN MOSFETs. The average efficiency and standby
power levels are designed to meet DoE level VI limits. Board dimensions are 1.34” x
1.41” x 0.708 (34mm x 36mm x 18mm).
