A mid-shot of a female model, dressed in dark clothing and wearing edgy eye make-up. Her body language suggests that she is putting up a front, she is concealing something, almost reversed. Though the picture's lighting isn't very satisfactory as there are shadows on the model's face which make the image look unprofessional. I edited this photo further to improve the contrast and brightness of the photograph.

This photo was taken at a concert I attended. It’s an extreme long shot of the stage and shows particular emphasis on the lighting and colours on the stage through the enhancing of the contrast and brightness.

These photographs include close up shots of two models. I intend to use these models as an artist and the other as the editor of the issue. These images will be edited in order to make the shots more close up so I can therefore ensure I have a variety of shots in my music magazine.

I also took photographs at a concert (more found in the next slide) that I attended in order to use them in my magazine, as my magazine does include news on concerts and festivals. I further edited several of the photographs on Photoshop to enhance the lighting, make the colours more vibrant and fun through contrast and brightness settings.

A long-shot of a edgy, female-fronted band. They are all dressed in the colours black and grey (which are common conventions of the rock, punk genre). The only colours that are included in the image are the female model's red, checkered shirt which helps to contrast with the model's darker clothing and also her vivid violet hair. I edited this hair colour on Photoshop using the colour replacement tool and made the band look more unique and makes them stand out from other bands. The hair colour also suggests that it is okay to be different from others which is what my music magazine suggests. The lighting in this photo is a vast improvement from the other photo, the brightness and contrast are high and make the purple hair look more vivid, bright and stand out.
