Prof: Prof.Yue Chee Yoon, NTU Singapore Guide: Dr.N.C.Nayak Outline of work done: Influence of polymer molecular weight on the laser cutting of micro-channels in PMMA and Topas.Expected the results will be included in two journal papers.

B) Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore

Internship at Indian Institute of Science (IISC), BangaloreGuide: Prof.S.Umapathy, IISC, BangaloreOutline of work done: Studied how to apply time-resolved absorption and Raman spectroscopy.

C) Siemens, Mumbai

Internship: Industrial Training at Siemens, Mumbai for a period of 1 month. Work Achieved– Worked under section Product Development in Motors Department under the supervision of Mr.Ranade (chief engineer).Understood assembly of stator, rotor and its working mechanism.Helped in alterations to end shield assembly plate to achieve noise and vibration reduction and optimize efficiency.

It was awarded to only 38 students in the field of Science throughout the country.
