Wyoming Stream TeamThis course is offered to educators interested in joining The Wyoming Stream Team, a statewide monitoring project based out of Teton Science Schools, and is made possible through funding from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality and the Environmental Protection Agency. Participants are provided with the equipment and training necessary to implement local water quality monitoring projects, and will be eligible for a follow-up visit by Teacher Learning Center staff during the academic year to assist in monitoring projects. The course includes training in water chemistry, habitat assessment, benthic macro-invertebrates, sampling protocols and field study design. Two credits are available from the University of Wyoming, or teachers may receive two credits through the Wyoming Professional Teachers Standards Board.6 days, 5 nights: Jul 14–19 • $100
Creativity in the ClassroomWhat are students capable of when we encourage their creativity? Help your students use creativity to make new, sudden and unexpected connections in their learning. Use creativity to engage and challenge your gifted and talented students. Participants will learn how to include creativity in their instructional practices, curriculum and assessments by linking research and theory. Come join us for hands-on, inquiry-based activities that can be integrated into your curriculum. Wyoming Water in the ClassroomThe first in a series of workshops is being offered at Teton Science Schools in partnership with the University of Wyoming’s Science and Math Teaching Center. Funding comes from the University of Wyoming’s largest ever research grant (Water in the Changing West), and participants will have the opportunity to interact with scientists from the University of Wyoming studying water issues around Wyoming. Middle and high school teachers will be trained in local geology, hydrology and groundwater models. Teachers who have participated in Wyoming Stream Team in the past are encouraged to consider this opportunity. Credit is available from the University of Wyoming or the Wyoming Professional Teachers Standards Board.5 days, 4 nights: Jul 22–26 • $100

Qualified InstructorsAll instructors are at least 21 years old and have completed a thorough application process including inter-views, reference checks, drug testing and driving and criminal background checks. Teaching team members also receive extensive and ongoing training in risk management, driving, first aid, CPR, teaching methods and the cultural and natural history of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
Small Field GroupsField groups typically have eight to thirteen students and two instructors, a ratio which allows for high quality education and individual attention. Each group has at least one lead instructor with Wilderness First Responder training and extensive experience at Teton Science Schools. Most field groups will have additional instructors who have already completed or will complete an undergraduate degree within the year.

Kelly CampusSet on a historic dude ranch inside Grand Teton National Park, the Kelly Campus is the longtime home of Teton Science Schools. Views extend from the foot of the Gros Ventre Mountains through the sage flats of Jackson Hole and across the Snake River to the Teton Range. Facilities include lodges, a dining lodge, classroom space and the Murie Museum.
Jackson CampusNestled up Coyote Canyon Road less than two miles from the town of Jackson, the Jackson Campus is a nearly 900-acre site comprised of creeks, ponds and native vegetation. Lodges, classrooms and the dining lodge were designed and built using high-performance materials with low-level organic compounds and minimal resources.
Teton ValleyThe merger with Teton Valley Community School in Victor, Idaho has provided the perfect home base for launching youth learning adventures. The four acre campus is a dynamic learning environment that includes an organic garden, natural playscapes, green house, chicken coup and goat barn, which are all maintained by the students.
Mountain WestTeton Science Schools is now offering programs designed and operated in partnership with regional affiliates across Wyoming, Idaho and Utah. These partner programs allow Teton Science Schools to further its mission by expanding into communities throughout the west to offer unique summer offerings for students.
Conference FacilitiesTeton Science Schools provide flexible meeting, dining and lodging space for intimate groups or larger conferences up to 300 people. Settings are ideal for community events, professional retreats, educational symposiums and conferences, alumni association gatherings, family reunions and weddings. Wireless internet, projectors and screens are available in all conference buildings. The kitchen is staffed with highly qualified professionals and top of the line equipment. Comfortable accommodations are available in our residential lodges.

Program Size and LocationTypical program size varies from 8–13 participants per session. All programs meet at the Jackson Campus of Teton Science Schools unless specifically noted in description.
Space is LimitedRegistrations will be processed in the order they are received and must be accompanied by full payment for most programs. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express as well as money orders or personal checks. An acceptance packet with all pertinent details will be sent to confirm your enrollment. Need-based financial aid is available for most programs.
Switch PolicyOnce registration is complete for a summer youth, adult or family adventure, a $10 non-refundable adminis-trative fee will be assessed per adventure that is switched to a different date or adventure.
Cancellation PolicyIf you cancel, a refund will be issued up to 30 days prior to the start date, less a $25 administrative fee per program. If cancellation is less than 30 days prior to start date, refunds will not be issued. Although we make every effort to adhere to our program schedule, extenuating circumstances may cause Teton Science Schools to cancel a program, in which case a full refund will be issued.
Inclement Weather PolicyAdult & Family Adventures will be adapted to any weather condition. Please bring closed-toed shoes and ap-propriate outdoor gear for the weather forecast. Evening Canoe and Picnic will depart campus in any weather and make a final decision about canoeing at the lake. If the weather is not conducive for canoeing, the group will hike or enjoy a wildlife tour through the park. If there is a threat of bad weather, families may choose to opt out of a program with a full refund up to thirty minutes prior to the program.
