ARCHITECTURAL CONCRETE MASONRY UNITS

Founded in 1991 in Strawn, Texas, Texas Building Prod-

ucts, Inc. serves a large geographical area with a di-

verse selection of architectural concrete masonry

products including integrally-colored split-face block,

burnished block and Spectra-Glaze II glazed block.

Our production facility is located in the heart of a 500

mile radius that includes all of Texas as well as portions

of the surrounding six states. In addition, our network of

dealers located across the United States allows us to

furnish our products virtually anywhere in the country.

All concrete masonry units produced by

Texas Building Products contain at least some

recycyled content and many contain

significant amounts. In addition, all raw

materials are obtained within 500 miles of

the plant in Strawn, Texas.

Split-face block from Texas Building Products offers the texture of broken-face stone in a variety of sizes up to 16”x24”. The texture of split-face block gives a wall a dramatic contrast to other materials and textures.

Burnished block from Texas Building Products offers the richness of a ground surface which exposes the colors of the aggregates of the block. A factory-applied sacrificial sealer further highlights the burnished surface.

Spectra-Glaze II glazed concrete masonry units by Texas

Building Products offer a variety of benefits to the designer.

The glazed face is integrally bonded to any size lightweight

block. Glazed CMU are resistant to soiling, chemicals, marking,

impact, abrasion, urine, blood and acid rain.
