MEDITATION
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, For the suffering of death crowned with glory and honour, That He by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. Hebrews 2:9 1. But we see Jesus (a) We are challenged to look at the Person called Jesus (b) And to consider what He has done
2. Who was made a little lower than the angels (a) This is a description of Jesus in His humanity (b) Humanity is described as a rung lower than the angels of God i. We have severe human limitations ii. We are far less in power and ability compared to angels 3. For the suffering of death (a) The focus here is two-fold i. Suffering of the Lord Jesus ii. Death of the Lord Jesus (b) He had come with a definite purpose i. He did not have to suffer for His own sins for He had none ii. He chose to suffer and die for the redemption of mankind 4. That He might taste death for everyone (a) Death is the penalty of sin against God (b) The only way to escape is through the atonement that Jesus made for us (c) What a wonderful Saviour we have in the Lord Jesus Christ

BY THE GRACE OF GOD The emphasis on grace is correct and precious! 1. It is by grace that we can have salvation in the Lord 2. It is by grace that Christ Jesus tasted death for us This is the Captain of our salvation! Those who believe in Him are called the children of God. The Captain of our salvation will lead us into glo-ry! Let us treasure this salvation we have offered to us!

Psalm 77:1—3
I cried out to God with my voice- To God with my voice; and He gave ear to me. In the day of my trouble I sought the LORD; My hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing; My soul refused to be comforted. I remembered God, and was troubled; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed.
1. How not to pray
(a) When we refuse to be comforted (b) When we complain
2. The danger of a complaining spirit
(a) We can feel overwhelmed (b) We can feel crushed
3. Will God hear us when we cry out
(a) He will (b) But we will have to seek Him as the LORD

IN THESE LAST DAYS
The LORD God had always faithfully spoken to His people, His nation, He went out of His way to redeem them, and gave them redemption. He spoke to them through special servants like the prophets of old,
His people knew that the LORD would never leave them in the cold.
Rising up early, the LORD would send encouragement to walk in the Way, But His words fell on deaf ears; the hearts of the people were in dismay.
They had chosen to follow the dictates of their own foolish hearts, From the Lord’s covenant, and from His love, they had been riven apart!
God did not give up on His people, He came up with the most wondrous plan,
He would send His only begotten Son; He would become the Son of Man. He would be the Living Word, and He would preach the Kingdom of God,
All who believed in Him would become His brethren, the children of the LORD.
He would usher in The Last Days, and it would be a challenging time for all, There would be tribulation and mercy is given only to those who would call.
The Lord Jesus would prove Himself as the only begotten Son of God, How wonderful to find salvation and blessing through faith in the Lord.

12 March 2017
Dear Brethren,
CHURCH FAMILY CAMP One of the most challenging ministries in Church is arguably the Family Camp! The reasons are obvious. 1. Preparatory Work for Messages
a) No doctrine is taken lightly
b) The Scriptures must be searched diligently
c) This demands much time, focus, energy and prayer effort
2. Preparatory Work to Meet Camp Needs
a) Financial
b) Logistics
c) Looking into details means having many Camp Meetings 3. Ministering to people at Camp
a) Much is planned
b) The Meetings, the Meals are looked into meticulously
c) Then there is the challenge of interpersonal relationships and fellowship
BUT IT IS WORTH IT ALL Why then do we continue to plan Annual Family Camps? In a word, “It is worth it all!” 1. To see people return to the Lord God 2. To see the Church grow stronger and deeper 3. To see people finding the joy of the Lord 4. To see the IPC Family become truly “God’s People” in a deeper way
Prayerfully, Pastor Charlie
