 54 Understand Qur’an (Level I)  Lessons 51-60 FREQUENTLY OCCURING WORDS (Almost 70% of Qur’anic Vocabulary) with examples of their usage using the material covered in Part-I The list is provided here for two purposes: (i) Use this list as a review of the material covered in the past 50 lessons; (ii)  VERY IMPORTANT: Each word/verb is provided with an example as a reference sentence for future reca ll! If you can not recall the meaning of any of th ese words, just recall the context in which it was used. The context provided by the reference sentence is of big help both in learning, memorizing, and retaining the meanings in your memory and in recalling them from your memory. (iii) These words occur very frequently in the Qur’an. Therefore they should be memorized with utmo st at tention. The number on the left shows the number of times it has occurred in the Qur’an; (iv)  After you have thoroughly studied 50 lessons, check your learning and achievement by noting down the fact that these words indeed constitute almost 70% of the Qur’anic vocabulary; (v) Meanings of the word s are a lso prov ided along with their examples. A student should try to recall t he meanings from memory. If he fails then he may loo k at t hem on the left side. A more detailed list of frequently occurring Qur’anic verbs (for each pattern or verb type) is provided in a separate book let, “80% words of the Qur’an.” It is also available on the website www.understandquran.com . TABLE OF CONTENTS for this part is provided on the next page.

The list is provided here for two purposes:

(i)  Use this list as a review of the material covered in the past 50 lessons;

(ii)   VERY IMPORTANT: Each word/verb is provided with an example as a

reference sentence for future recall! If you can not recall the meaning of

any of these words, just recall the context in which it was used. The

context provided by the reference sentence is of big help both in learning,memorizing, and retaining the meanings in your memory and in recalling

them from your memory.

(iii)  These words occur very frequently in the Qur’an. Therefore they should be

memorized with utmost attention. The number on the left shows the
