Silicone Edge – SEGSilicone EdgesA perfect workmanship needs high-quality material.

Besides the known PVC edges which are rarely used be-cause of toxic dangers in producing and disposing - the SEG is the ecological alternative.

The SEGs are available in customized widths and sizes – if ordered in appropriate quantities. For each size a special tool is necessary.

The most common size at the moment is 14x3 mm.

As SEGs have to comply with certain criterias, we de-veloped together with our producers SEGs which guarantee a trouble free production.

What is important?

the SEG has to be as straight as possible when it is rolled out.

test the SEG as follows: let the SEG hang down from chest height. It should hang straight and not twisted. This is a good quality SEG.

the reels have a high volume so that they do not have to be changed often. Each reel change means expen-sive set-up time.

the heavier the reel is, the higher is the tension of the SEG while unwinding.

each SEG has got a special texture, the perfect mix of materials

the winding of the reel is also difi cult for the producer: the SEGs must not stick on each other

If all these requirements are met, the SEG can be easily unwinded and has low tension - otherwise there will be problems when sewing esp. with the High-end version with aut. cutting without stopp while sewing and with the matching of the programmed free edges. Only when these edges are really free, a trouble free manufacturing is possible.

Frames are sold in an existing size. So you need a perfect and precise cutting as well as a sewing proce-dure which does not change the size needed.

It is very important that the unwinding of the “Keder” does not stress the “Keder” – any tension infl uences the result on sewing.

Especially on big rolls – if you cannot manage to prevent stress of the tape between unwinding and sewing, you won’t be successful, even the best sew-ing head won’t help.

So we created different unwinding technologies either with or without “dancing systems” – for silicon rubber tapes as well as for PVC – for small 50 m up to 200 m – for rolls with bobbin inside or for the open system without.

This image shows the sew synchronisation with ATAS. As you can see, even heavy rolls can be unrolled stress-free with or without core. The fi rst dancing system is located between unwinding left and motor-off device in the middle. A second dancing system provides further stress reduction of fl atpipes between deduction and positioning. Only this guarantees precise cutting.

5.Multifl ex - Use different sewing stations at one work station.The sewing stations are changed by the operator in one minute. Whether you chose chain stitching or tape sewing - the system is intelligent enough to recognize what has been docked -It‘s that easy!

SYNCHROMATIC MULTIFLEX+

5.CDWe have a “MOUSE” technique, see image on the right. With a needle fi xation device you clamp the fab-ric at the left seam end - this is a safe variant. I.e. sew-ing right side with fl at pedal - go to the left and pinch the left seam with the mouse and start sewing from left side. The process runs automatically with 590.429.4 or ATAS.17.All the described functions are, of course, individually and manually selectable. If an error occurs in the sewing process, the operator can stop the system in any sewing position by means of a laterally extending pull cord, cor-rect it and re-sew.

The seams are very easy and fast to manufacture with high seam quality.

Sewing CarSynchronised movement of sewing and feed rate.

The operator controls the machine like a car, that drives forward automatically. This way the sewing speed can be faster or slower, resp. sewing without a feed rate is possible (for short pieces).

Reverse running can be made at a fast rate.

The system can be equipped with nearly every sewing head – 1 needle or 2 needle or with an asynchronous 2 needle sewing head, that can be used with 1 or 2 needles – all in one system.

Feeding of fl at piping welt from above or underneath.

By using this sewing robot you don’t need further employees, that pull long fabric pieces through the machine. >>> (Saving of time and money)

KEDER SEAM AUTOMATION MINI

Punching machine pneumatic with eyelet-feedingThe eyelet top and bottom part will be fed from the 2 baskets on the top and right. - the eyelets are special and may cut the hole assisted by a ball sized tool into the fabric and the eyelets been pressed together as well in one operation. Quick and easy feeding of the eyelet.You may also just cut the holes and press the eyelets by a 2nd operation into the material. For different sizes of eyelets you have to change the tools as well as the feed-ing device - because each feeding device runs a special size of eyelets only. Materials in different thicknesses may work - because the pressure is adjustable during the pressing process. For the centering of the hole you may get a laser pointer as acc. The machine is equipped with a safety hand protection according to CE.

Cuttingmachine with ultrasonic and / or driven blade. The ultrasonic machine is either available as only ultrasonic or as a blade cutting machine or as a twin version with 2 cutting systems. On one side - we do have a craddle as shown - the material may be pulled manually on the table - the cutter runs from below and gives a perfect result - especially by assistance of the save clamping bar. On the ultrasonic version - the clamping bar is covered by plexiglas in series and works air-operated right and left of the cutting line - the cutting speed can be adjusted according to the material.

Softstart is also in series, because it is very helpful on special textiles as well as the quick return – this saves time.

This module fi ts to any existing table – you may order a new table as well – just tell us the size.
