Chemical Nature Fatty acid condensate-based product.

Physical form White/Slightly yellow viscous dispersion.

Storage When stored correctly, in sealed containers, Textile Wax FF-B New has a shelf life of up to 12 months. Textile Wax FF-B New becomes increasingly pasty to solid when temperature decreases. When the product is warmed, it reliquifies without loss in efficiency.

Properties

Solubility The product dissolves readily in warm water to give acidic solution and is stable in hard water up to 40 German hardness (50 English hardness).

Stability

It is stable to acids and alkalis and compatible to water-hardening substances. Owing to its excellent compatibility with other products, it can be added to all sizing and finishing liquors without hesitation.

Action As an addition to sizing liquor, it improves both the furnishing properties of the liquor, smoothness of warp thread, renders suppleness and reduces any tendency to dusting; it also facilitates the dry splitting of warp.

Ecological Information Textile Wax FF-B New is an APEO-free product.

Application

Depending on the sizing recipe, the fiber substrate and the local condition e.g. the climatic condition in the weaving department, the recommended quantity is: 1 - 5 gm/I Textile Wax FF-B New.
