Write the moral of the story for the myth "Pandora's box".  Activity 2: Read and reflect on the questions you find in each box on the bottom of page 7. Write your answers.

(Página 8)   Activity 1: Reread the myth "Pandora's Box" and review the vocabulary from the text on page 8.  Activity 2: Write the correct vocabulary word on the line to complete the fill-in-the-blank sentences on page 8.  Activity 3: Now write your own sentences using each of the vocabulary words from the story.

Adelante Unidad 4 Texto decodificable Grado 2: La Broma de Timur (Página 8)  Actividad 1: Lee con atención y contesta :  1.¿Quiénes son los personajes de la historia? 2 ¿Dónde sucede la historia? (Página 8)   Activity 1: Read carefully and answer: 1.Who are the characters in the story? 2 Where does the story take place? (Page 8)  

Adelante Unidad 4 Texto decodificable Grado 2: La Broma de Timur (Página 8)  Actividad 1: Encuentra las palabras de “La Broma de Timur” que tengan -ar, -er, -ir, -or  y escríbelas en la tabla (página 9). Cuenta las sílabas. Usa tus palmas para separarlas.  Actividad 2: Lee las palabras de alta frecuencia. Encuéntralas en la lectura y  escribe la oración en la que la encontraste. (Página 9)   Activity 1: Find the words that have -ar, -er, -ir, -or from the text “La Broma de Timur”and write them on the table on page 9. Count the syllables. Use your hands to clap out the syllables.   Activity 2: Read the high frequency words on page 9. Find each word in the text “La Broma de Timur”(page 8) and write the sentence from the text onto a piece of paper.     

Actividad: Pintando con Palabras (Página 9)  Actividad 1: Lee la descripción de Tirso y Timur en la historia “La Broma de Timur” y dibuja a los personajes en la caja que tiene su nombre.    Actividad 2: ¿Cómo te imaginas el reino de Timur y Tirso? Descríbelo en el espacio proporcionado.     Activity 1: Read the description of Tirso and Timur in the story “Timur's Joke” (“La Broma de Timur”) and draw the characters in the box that has their name (see page 9).  Activity 2: Imagine the kingdom of Timur and Tirso. Describe it in the space provided on the bottom of page 9 in your packet.  Opcional: Juega con adjetivos

  Actividad: Adjetivo, verbo y sustantivo (Página 10)  Actividad 1: Lee los conceptos de adjetivo, sustantivo y verbo en cada una de las cajas.   Actividad 2: Escribe las palabras en la columna correcta.    Activity 1: Read about adjectives, nouns and verbs in each of the boxes on page 10 of your packet.  Activity 2: Sort the words in the table on page 10 into the correct column.   Opcional: adjetivo, verbo y sustantivo    

  

  

¡Adivina adivinador! (Página 10)  Actividad 1: Lee las adivinanzas y encuentra la respuesta a cada una de ellas.    Actividad 2: Escribe tu propia adivinanza. Piensa en tu animal favorito. Léela alguien de tu familia y pide que adivine de qué animal se trata. Dibuja tu animal.    Activity 1: Read the riddles and figure out the answer to each one.   Activity 2: Write your own riddle. Think of your favorite animal. Read it to someone in your family and ask them to guess which animal it is. Draw a picture to go with your riddle.
