FBMKLCI Weekly Chart

Winter Bull on the making

Be Fearful or Be Greedy!

The FBMKLCI, ended the

week high by gaining +2%

which is on par with our

previous newsletter

outlook stating that the

support 1656 will be a

base for the index to go

for a rebound week.

Despite the gain on the

index, we have notice

how the lower liner

stocks had been through

a week of Profit Takingwhich is not a surprise

but a healthy activities to

be seen.

Remember we mentioned

that ‘There are still stocks

that are yet to rally. Those

that are on the rallies, do

you know your exit

timing?’. Hence it is not a

main concern to be seen for

those who had missed their

exit timing opportunity as

the lower liner stocks will

still be the focus of the

month towards the end of

December 2015. Pick the

right stocks and have a

trading plan so you will

always understand what

you are doing.

Support & Resistant

With the index performing on

our expectation on its last

week rebound, the support for

the index will remain at 1656.

While knowing where the

support is important, knowing

where the resistant is

important as only a break out

of 1716 will trigger a Big Bull

Market in our local stock

market. Hence for this week

issues, Oil & Gas Stocks and

Construction Stocks will be the

main focus of the week.

As correctly anticipated in Issue #85 PLAN A, FKLI did have an uptrend and

consequently hit 1ST uptrend target 1,690 on Thursday. The index futures then closed at

1,678.5 on Friday. However, based on my interpretation of the chart, I believe (PLAN

B) FKLI will have a minor downtrend next week if prices below 1,680 and EMA 8 below

EMA 13. 1ST downtrend for FKLI can be seen at 1,660 while 2ND downtrend target is

1,632. Take note, this downtrend will be brief as FKLI need slight downtrend for

“Retracement”. On the other hand, (PLAN A) an uptrend can be seen if prices can stay

above 1,680 and EMA 8 above EMA 13. 1ST uptrend target can be seen at 1,692 while

2ND uptrend target is 1,720.

FCPO triggered Issue #85 PLAN A on Thursday, 26 November and subsequently hit our

1ST uptrend target 2,350 on the second day. Going forward, based on my analysis on the

chart, I believe (PLAN A) FCPO will resume a strong uptrend as long as prices above

2,350 and EMA 8 above EMA 13. 1ST uptrend target for FCPO will be 2,400 while 2ND

uptrend target is at 2,450. Do keep an eye of a weak ringgit as it might add some upward

momentum for FCPO too. On the other hand, (PLAN B) FCPO might start a downtrend

next week if prices below 2,300 and EMA 8 below EMA 13. 1 ST downtrend target for

FCPO is 2,300 while 2ND downtrend target will be 2,250. A strong Ringgit vs USD will

also provide some downward pressure on FCPO.

WTI traded between the ranges of $41 to $43 last week. The underlying trend for WTI is

still downtrend, as first highlighted 3 weeks ago in Issue #83 PLAN B. Going forward, I

reiterate my analysis, which is (PLAN B) WTI to resume downtrend as long as EMA 8

below EMA 13 and prices below $42. 1ST downtrend target is $40 while 2ND downtrend

target is $38. On the other hand, I only foresee (PLAN A) an uptrend if prices above $42

and EMA 8 above EMA 13. 1ST uptrend target for WTI will be $46 while 2ND uptrend

target is $51, which is also the EMA 200 long term bearish resistance.

Readers can use WTI prices to be prepared for any price increase or decrease in

RON95 & RON97.

Ringgit did appreciate against USD last week, as first warned in Issue #85 PLAN B. The

Ringgit posted a weekly best of RM 4.20 against USD. Going forward, I reiterate my

stance of (PLAN B) Ringgit to appreciate (downtrend) again next week, as long as prices

below RM 4.30 and EMA 8 below EMA 13. I foresee Ringgit to appreciate towards the

1ST target of RM4.10 in the near term. 2ND target can be seen at RM4.00, which is the

EMA 200 long term USD bullish support. On the other hand, (PLAN A) the Ringgit

could depreciates against USD if prices above RM 4.30 and EMA 8 above EMA 13. 1ST

uptrend target is RM 4.48 with 2ND uptrend target at RM 4.71 (historical high).

Readers can use USD/MYR chart as to be prepared for any Ringgit appreciation or

depreciation.
