Prelude~We are delighted to introduce to you this Anniversaries Season of Transfigured Nights! Through our offerings this year we will be celebrating three major anniversaries in the life of Transfi guration:

• the 10th anniversary of the dedication of Richards, Fowkes & Co.’s Opus 17 gallery organ;

• the 15th anniversary of the Transfigured Nights music series;

• the 50th anniversary of the dedication of the church building.

Our season includes three evensongs, beginning with our traditional opening service commemorating Transfi guration’s founding day. Our fi nal evensong will celebrate the dedication of the church building, which has served us so well in our worship since 1970.

The anniversary of the organ will be celebrated throughout the year with three recitals by world-renowned organists performing examples of the vast repertoire that our instrument plays so beautifully.

There will also be three concerts of music from the Baroque era which will be performed by a variety of ensembles. And we are looking forward to presenting another gala with great music, great food, and drink in Roper Hall on May 2nd. This Anniversaries Celebration will bring together the festivities of the year in a wonderful evening for parishioners, patrons, friends, and family.

Art Music Mondays returns for its ninth season with four concerts in the Performance Hall by area musicians and guests.

We hope that you will be able to join us often during the coming season to have your spirits lifted by some incredible live music. We are ever grateful to our patrons, musicians, and volunteers who have made these fi fteen years possible, and anticipate a wonderful season of music to come!
