The 2020 Electrical Power Quality and UtilizationConference and Exhibition (EPQU), organized byinternational consortium of Polish universities, international research organizations, and domestic utilities, provides a unique forum for the PQ engineers, researchers, equipment manufacturers, and other PQ professionals topresent their work and share experience in the area ofpower quality and utilization of efficient energy solutions.Participants of EPQU’20 will discuss different aspects ofpower quality phenomena, cost-effective solutions, andapplications as well as different issues of electrical energyutilization.

There are two ways to actively participate and contribute tothe value of EPQU’20 conference. One is to submit technicalpaper documenting field experience and solutions in thearea of power quality; the other way is to submit relevantslide presentation along with a short text informing about itsmain theses. All papers and presentations will be reviewed by a group ofexperts. Those that receive positive feedback will bepublished in the conference proceedings. The conference will be conducted in English. Presentationsin Polish are also possible. The organizers providesimultaneous translation in both languages.

The conference scope contains scientific, technical, economical and legal problems of electrical powerquality and utilisation in both AC and DC networks. The topic concerns utilities and all electrical energycustomers: industrial, commercial and residential. The conference aim is to provide a forum forelectrical engineers and scientists to present theirwork and share experience in the area of powerquality and utilisation.Papers or presentation are welcomed in one of thefollowing preferential, proposed topics:• Power quality parameters• PQ standardisation• Methods of power quality analysis,• Modelling and simulation• Power quality measurements: techniques,

instruments• Methods of power quality improvement• Power quality in competitive electricity markets• EMC in electrical engineering• Economic framework for power quality• Influences of disturbing loads on supply

networks and other electrical devices• Reliability and continuity of supply• Power quality in grids with distributed

generation and renewable energies• Energy efficiency• Education
