At Wat Samphran (วัดสามพราน) in Nakhon Pathom Province there is a 17 storey building that has a giant dragon climbing to the roof. The head is at the top where there is a shrine and the tail is on the ground floor. The dragon is hollow and it is possible to walk up some sections of it.

To ensure the temple was intact and preserve the sacred, some parts of the temple is not open to visitors. However, the beautiful scenery outside the temple Wat Samphran well enough to leave a special impression in the hearts of visitors

The temple is located only about 40 minutes north west of Bangkok, but seems to be widely unknown, as there is very little information about it on the internet and not every experienced guide knew about it

The Wat Samphran Temple is rarely featured in guidebooks and is considerably removed from the typical tourist track.

The temple grounds are rich in decorations, statues of animals and more dragons

This unique temple features 17 floors and is adorned with a dragon spiraling to the top. The dragon itself is reportedly hollow, and visitors are able to walk some sections of it, though other parts of the temple remain closed to the public.

The head of the giant dragon is clearly visible from a distance, but the temple is located near the highway and most people don't take much time to look around
