We have had a wonderful response to our request of parents, staff and local businesses to provide items for tonight’s auction. Please support the evening’s fundraising activities by taking a look through the auction brochure and maybe bidding for an item (or two). All funds raised will benefit the children at Thames Ditton Infant School.

The auction items include a signed boxing glove by David Haye, an annual pass for the brand new Skywalk adventure at Sandown, Thames Ditton Lawn Tennis and Colets memberships, pampering sessions, interior design packages, holiday home stays plus much, much more. Including the ever popular Boys day out at Wolves and the Heathrow Control Tower visit. We are especially pleased to offer a number of items provided by the infant school teachers including a morning in the school office, four delightfully themed parties and the ever-popular chance to “run the school for the morning”.

Ballet is an art form that encourages good posture and teaches a child discipline, co-ordination, strength, control and also gives them confidence. The Ditton School of Ballet wishes to encourage musicality and the enjoyment of dance and movement in a happy, caring, focused and professional atmosphere. They are committed to achieving results of the highest possible standard and inspiring all of their pupils to reach their full potential. Both Alison and Caroline have toured extensively around the world performing both classical and contemporary ballets and have worked with many leading dancers and renowned choreographers.

For any budding ballerinas out there, this is a wonderful opportunity to be taught by the best. Alison and Caroline teach at Colets and St Nicholas’ Church, and have kindly offered unlimited dance classes, at any stage, for one full term. A previous winner enjoyed the classes so much, she has continued into her teens.

Angus took up the piano at the age of 6 because, as his mother said “he wanted to”, at 13 he enrolled at the Royal Academy of Music as a Junior Exhibitioner with clarinet as second study, at 23 he took his BA Honours Degree (Music) with percussion as third study, and finally at 27, he post- graduated at Trinity College studying both accompanying and the harpsichord. At present, he has had the privilege of 25 years experience as both a performer of classical piano and a teacher of the same, working privately and at local schools. He says, "I hope that the many pupils that I have taught continue to love the piano in the way that I have guided them…" 

Lessons to be taken on weekdays only, at mutually agreed times, before 1st September 2017.
