Thank You This term has had many highlights and events scattered throughout including Show Day, Art Show, Bike Ed and Swimming just to name a few. A real highlight was the Fathers’ Day Breakfast which saw Dads and other special male figures in our students lives come to school for breakfast and a play. All these events and extra-curricular activities are part of the School’s ethos and what sets the school apart from many other schools. However such events and opportunities wouldn’t be available to students if it wasn’t for the willingness of staff to organise and run such events and to ensure that they are run efficiently and safely. Each event takes a great deal of planning and preparation that largely remains unnoticed but takes a great deal of time and effort. As a school community we are extremely lucky that so many staff are willing to contribute in this way. The grand finale is the Sleep Over this week, where over 250 children will be spending the night at school and will be provided with entertainment, food and the experience of a sleepover. Again this event can only take place due to the good will of staff to provide supervision and to sleep over as well. The students have been fantastic at all the events and each and every one of them should be very proud of how they have conducted themselves at these events. The positive comments and endorsements from various organisations show that our students are a real credit to themselves and the school. With Mr Armstrong returning back after his holiday next term, I would like to thank all our staff and parents for their support and involvement in our School throughout the term. We have such a great team at Cardinia Primary School and I appreciate all the assistance I have received throughout the last few weeks. Have a great holiday, relax and enjoy the two weeks of being at home and the opportunity to do things as a family. See you all next term!
