The level of hospitality and professionalism extended to our group is beyond compare Jay Williams was instrumental in paving the way with the city to host our Aquatic Safety School. Our School had participants from all over the country, including: California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin The Texas contingency included Anthony, from West Texas, Borger and Perryton from the Panhandle, Corpus Christi from the South, Deer Park, Jacinto City, and Webster from the East. Other locations included New Braunfels, Roanoke, Sheridan, The Colony, and Waco. All of the participants were very impressed and commented on the beautiful displays that told the history of Texas City found in the Charles T Doyle Convention Center and the cleanliness of the facilities. The Doyle Convention Center meeting rooms were well maintained and set up perfectly for each one of our sessions. The instructors had clean tables and work areas to work; this was accomplished by the hard work of the "set-up crews" and Nicole Best. We would like to extend to her and her team a big thank you! The main contact person that NASCa communicated with throughout this endeavor was Kyle Pacini. He was available whenever I drove in from College Station to discuss the upcoming safety school. He was very accommodating and provided assistance at every opportunity. The aquatic staff did a superb Job of seeing that we were taken care of and that the pools were clean and available when needed. The level of professionalism and flexibility was greatly appreciated and was noticed by all of the faculty and participants when it came to seamless transitions from the pool deck to class rooms. Everything flowed flawlessly. Mayor Doyle, NASCa wants to let you know that we were very impressed, and pleased with the clean facilities, and level of professionalism demonstrated by the Department of Tourism of Texas City. We were very excited when the City of Texas City said that it would assist NASCa by hosting our Annual Aquatic Safety School, and we were extremely honored and proud to share the history and hospitality of Texas City with the rest of the country. tktp Thank you for everything! ~ Respectfully, ~~e;;y~ Eric "Chet Jacobson Dr. John L.
