The Commemoration of all the Faithful Departed (All Souls) will be celebrated during the month of November.

In this Sunday’s Gospel we find the truth that loving God isn’t merely a matter of fervor in our hearts, but that it must be expressed in doing good for the sake of others.
This month, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to show that we indeed love our neighbors by assisting families, providing in food, for utility and rent bills, etc. Thank You!

Texas Trotters On October 31st, we will make our monthly trek to the Mexican American Culture Center in Austin. The movie playing is El Señor Fotógrafo with English subtitles, where Cantiflas is captured by gangsters thinking he is a scientist who has the formula for a new atomic bomb. A light breakfast and lunch will be served courtesy of AARP. We carpool from the church parking lot at 8:15am.
Monthly brown bag lunch meeting on November 3rd after the First Friday noon Mass. We meet at the Church hall to plan future activities in and around central Texas.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Project
Our parish's Society of St. Vincent de Paul is distributing ornaments after all Masses November 4th & 5th for needy children and families in the Dripping Springs area. Each "ornament" contains a request for a Christmas present that a child asked for or a family gift. Childrens' gifts should not exceed $30; family gifts are $50 HEB gift cards. Please turn your gifts in to the church or parish office by November 20th. Thank you for your generosity this Christmas!
Prayer blankets at all the Masses the weekend of November 11th & 12th will be blessed. The blessed blankets will be available, at no charge, for parishioners to pick up in the portico after Mass. If you know someone who could benefit from
being "covered in prayer" (including yourself ), please take the opportunity to make use of this ministry. A lot of time, talent, and love go into each blanket; we make them in order to give them away.
