The HRO Today Services and Technology Association has been successful through creating a group dynamic where people share their ideas, opportunities, and discuss new methods and solutions to help them drive their HR processes and strategy. We do this through:

• Cross functional committee groups that set standards and practices for our industry, create benchmarks and toolkits for others to model after, and advance the professions of HR and HR services and technology companies.

• Podcasts about best and next practices in talent acquisition, talent management, employee services and relations, and outsourcing are added to our on-demand library monthly.

• We provide case studies, research, articles, resources, and information online and in our magazines, HRO Today and HRO Today Global.

• Our member and subscriber lists are virtually a who’s-who in the business, making it a great place to network, learn, and engage.

We decided to bring this concept to our annual HRO Today Forum in APAC last year, and it was a success! This year our Forum is again workshop-based and focuses on problem solving in order to help executives “Drive Corporate Strategy.” All participating speakers and workshop leaders will help attendees tackle workplace challenges and will have the opportunity to take those findings and publish them in a case study or white paper distributed to the HRO Today APAC subscriber base. All practitioners in attendance at the HRO Today Forum APAC will be cited in these publications. In addition, you will hear from chief human resources officers, have opportunities to learn and share best practices, meet other attendees, and increase your professional network.

In addition, our CHRO of the Year and Talent Acquisition Leader of the Year Awards luncheon will showcase some of the best in human resources and talent, showcasing their methods in driving success in their organisations. Pip Eastman is managing director of APAC solutions for Korn Ferry’s RPO and professional search business, based out of the firm’s Singapore office. James Henness has been with PeopleScout HRX for over 10 years and is the head of accounts for the company’s Springboard technology business. Henness is accountable for providing technology consulting services to both RPO and technology customers. During his tenure, he has led the implementation of many large Springboard recruitment solutions across both government and corporate environments. He plays a significant technology product development and management role and works to roll out the solutions on a global scale. Henness has over 20 years of experience in providing technical consulting services to the recruitment industry.

Paul Hotchan Assistant Vice President, Galaxy Entertainment Group

With over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, executive search, and talent strategy in Europe, the Middle East, China, and Hong Kong, Hotchan joined Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) in 2014 as an assistant vice president within the Centre of Excellence—Recruitment, specifically to spearhead corporate and executive recruitment and workforce strategy.

Immediately prior to joining GEG, Hotchan spent almost seven years with a leading HR consulting organisation, leading the executive search practice out of Hong Kong. Prasanth Narayanan presently a director and CHRO of the Carnival Group, was born in Kochi on 30th May 1973. Narayanan graduated with a degree in English Literature from the Mahatma Gandhi University. Ever since he stepped into the corporate world, there has been no looking back. Starting his career in the year 1993 with SM Dyechem Ltd., he helped the company grow substantially for four years. He then joined a prominent automotive company in the year 1997 and headed the entire south operations of the company, streamlining a lot of business and financial processes. Mehul Rajparia joined Lumesse in 2005 to drive Lumesse growth plans in Asia Pacific, and is responsible for all aspects of Lumesse’s talent acquisition business in APAC.
