Why the previous slides
The previous slides seem to tell an old story, but if I
make a grab in my past experience, I can see a lot of
(big) companies who think that they must dictate
their clients on how to work. Sometimes because
they think they are the experts, sometimes because
they think that is the only way to justify the high
rates they get paid.

E.g. some years ago I had a discussion with a consultant of IBM
about estimating techniques, where my opinion was to do as
much as possible within the budget of the client and the opinion
of ‘IBM’ was that only their methodology was good enough and
that the client should be urged to increase the budget. Guess

In time of economical distress this becomes even more
important, because we can translate that into

Sponsorship (from belgium): Pay between 500 Euro/month and 1000 Euro/month People selected by Thaste IT and the client 6 months training in South Africa according the guidelines of the
client 3 year commitment of Thaste IT that client can use these
resources for dayrates between 300 Euro/day and 450 Euro/day Client receives discount in the first six months that resource is
working for them for the amount of the full sponsorship Commitment of Thaste IT that client can cancel the contract at
any time without extra cost Depending the amount of sponsoring the resource can already
work for the client in South Africa.

Sponsorship (from South Africa): Main goal for us is to give resource a training to
make them more valuable
We offer staff to our South African clients CTC (cost to company) + 20%
Valid for the period (+/- 6 months) in which resource prepares his/her papers to start an international career

Thaste IT goes the extra mile: No matter if it is a sponsorship or direct use of
resources Extra mile = free assessment
o QA assessment on project, department, team where the client has less confidence
o 5 days on-site; 1 month durationo Report with at least 5 major recommendationso Price 10.000 Euro returned to client as discount on any
resources he uses from Thaste IT. E.g.• 3 resources at 300 Euro/day• Discount of 10% = 90 Euro/day• QA assessment paid back in 111 days (+/- 6 months)

Clients in Belgium AND South Africa Thaste IT has NO sales and therefore we need partners that believe in the
approach of Thaste IT, NOT pure body shoppers. In Belgium we can beat ANY price of the competition and deliver the same,
probably better, quality of work Day rate for tester = 350 Euro/day (no knowledge of Dutch/French) Day rate for tester = 375 Euro/day (knowledge of Dutch or French) Day rate for tester = 400 Euro/day (knowledge of Dutch and French)
Thaste IT is pleased with CTC (cost to company) + 20%. Tester costs 12.000 R CTC/month -> 144.000 R/year 200 working days: Tester costs 720 R/day Day rate : 720 + 20% = 864 R/day
In South Africa we have completely NO idea on prices, so any suggestion is welcome.
