Unit 5 – Ancient Egypt
Unit 6 - Ancient India
Over the course of this month we completed one unit and started another. We finished our discussions on ancient Egypt. All had fun as we learned about the embalming process and designed our own sarcophagus (see inset picture). March will be filled with interactive activities where we “excavate” the ancient city of Mohenjo-Daro.
Classroom Highlights
As the year moves forward, we’ve been using moodle more and more. If you have not had the opportunity to visit the classroom moodle site, I strongly suggest you swing by and check things out. With moodle the students can access any worksheets handed out in class, have classroom discussions and chats with other members of the class and complete online assignments. Please take the time to investigate the class moodle for yourself. If there are any questions or concerns please contact me.
