Eeyore was saying to himself, ‘This writing business. Pencils and what-not. Over-rated, if you ask me. Silly stuff. Nothing in it.’

Why bother?

It's boring

Who reads it?

Won't do it in later life

Provides aspiration!

When writing “just for you”, they want to be good enough Tim Rylands

Some kids are going to middle school with a lot of knowledge about writing. I know that you have changed my writing for me! You made me go from a pretty low level to a really good level that I should be at.

I think it is sooooo cool that kids all around the world can see our writing…We all get so excited when we check our comments and find out that it is from an different country!

Being able to comment on people in the UK, Africa, Mexico, and anywere else is a true privilege.

This program inspired me to write more thing like, writing in a diary, or making comics.

I feel every week goes by my writing gets better and better . I was looking at my first piece of writing compared to now and I can say I have really grown as an author .

We may be living in totally different places, but we’re still connected.

Giving the children a regular diet of comments is vital to improving their writing.

Team 100WC is a group of adults who each week look at a given number of entries and provide a constructive comment.

We need lots more people!

Peer to peer comments are SO powerful!!
