With the focus on networked planning and design, permaculture also combines many solutions for garden design and food cultivation. It takes into account topics such as agriculture, self-sufficiency and nutrition, ecological building, sustainable resource and energy supply, alternative currencies, and many more.

The answers have already been found for many of the ecological questions of our time. In this course, knowledge and skills are imparted in order to contribute and apply these possible solutions and to take into our own hands, flexibly, openly and self-determinedly, what is important to all of us: the design and maintenance of a healthy, diverse world and a peaceful and livable future.

The course takes place at the Paradise Retreat in the northwest corner of Corfu. Beyond any training curriculum, we will learn and work with a beautiful 1 hectare land. With the inventory, design and its implementation options will develop organically, in the spirit and philosophy and practice of permaculture.

Declan who brought permaculture to Europe in 1980. He conveys his knowledge in his unique entertaining and form-free manner and at the same time invites us to flow intuitively. The focus of the shared experience is intuition, creativity and the love for nature, which are revealed in the design.

Anadi is co-founder and director of the Alexis Zorbas Retreat Center in Corfu and will be the host for this course on his 1 hectare land. He offers his many years of experience with the ecological situation of the island, and will share his love for creation and may shed some light on ways for inner change.
