Who is Well FED ?Well FED is the area’s largest and most comprehensive food, dining, and healthy living magazine. Our content spans everything from the garden to the plate, organized under the catchphrase, “Feed. Eat. Drink”:

“Feed”, covers a wide range of topics selected to help readers make informed decisions about their choices, not only for themselves, but also for their families and pets. From gardening to cooking, healthy living to homemaking - we educate while we entertain.

““Eat”, is all about the thing we love to do and where to do it. The monthly dining guide is the prominent feature of this section and is the largest and most up to date resource for locals and tourists, when making their dining decisions. In addition to the dining guide, we feature articles and recipes from some of the best places in town.

“Drink”, tops off the magazine by further expanding the guide to cover the local bars and nightlife, as well as cover topics related to entertaining at home and further enjoying one of Savannah’s most convivial past times.

WellWell FED’s content is chosen for lasting readability, inclining readers to save each issue or pass it along, rather than dispose of it like a quickly outdated daily or weekly paper. We include no political bias, and carry no personal, adult, or negative ads. Our aim is to inform and inspire visitors and the local community—all in an easily portable format that is convenient to carry and easy to read. With the launch our new online editions of the magazines, it has never been easier to reach the community: at home, at work, or on the go.

BehindBehind the pages of Well FED is a company that operates to the standards of a for-profit corporation while functioning with the ideals of a non-profit organization. Well FED is a collaboration of business professionals and artists who seek new ways to deliver information and convey an ethic of responsibility, both socially and environmentally. We utilize ecologically benign forms of printing, and continuously strive to reduce our carbon footprint. Well FED Magazine is printed with soy inks on partially recycled, highly recyclable, chlorine-free, uncoated paper. Our website utilizes purchased renewable energy credits to offset its carbon footprint, and we operateoperate with no central office space that would only consume more natural resources. Local distribution is carried out at the beginning of each month, primarily by foot or bike, whenever possible. By minimizing consumption and lowering overhead, we are able to pass the savings on to advertisers, the local community, and our environment.

Distribution is spread out over 650 locations throughout Savannah and the Islands, giving us one of the largest models in the city. KeyKey locations include: Hotels and other places of accommodation, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, public buildings, and tourist spots. Top tourist locations and high traffic areas receive an extra 25% distribution rate and are refilled throughout the month to ensure availability. New locations are added regularly. Every issue is distributed at the beginning of each month for FREE.

We accept: .JPG / .PDF / .EPS / .TIF file formats.Any other formats should be cleared with art department prior to submission.

Files copied directly off the internet Will NOT be sufficient for printing.

Files should include any vector information and must have all fonts embedded.

Files should meet the minimum following criteria:

BMP: 600 DPIBMP: 600 DPI

JPG/ TIF/ PDF/ EPS: 300 DPI

All files submitted must be CMYK.

Full page bleed ads submitted without sufficient bleed area will be reduced to

fit live area size.

For a full page bleed, Any important information must be within the live area to

ensure it is in the final trim.
