LARGEST LONG TERM CARE TRADE SHOW IN VIRGINIA

Held in conjunction with the VHCA/VCAL Annual Convention, the 2015 Trade Show at the Embassy Suites Hampton Roads - Hotel, Spa & Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia is by far the largest and

most comprehensive trade show of its kind in Virginia. We invite you to exhibit at the 2015 Trade Show and be a part of a truly great event!

ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION

The Virginia Health Care Association (VHCA) & the Virginia Center for Assisted Living (VCAL) is Virginia’s

preeminent long term care trade Association. VHCA/VCAL’s mission is to promote the delivery of quality extended health care ser-

vices through leadership,

information, education, col-lective action and collabora-

tive efforts with other provid-ers and citizen groups so

that quality health care

services along with a contin-uum of care are available to

all citizens of the Common-wealth of Virginia.

VHCA/VCAL represents over

90% of the nursing facilities

in Virginia, staffing more than 27,000 long term care

beds and a growing number of assisted living facilities.

The Association

began over a half century ago with a vision for quality in long term care. For more than 60 years, VHCA has repeatedly demon-

strated that by joining together, we can improve the delivery of care for the frail elderly and disabled throughout the Commonwealth.

VHCA/VCAL membership is a proven ingredient for professional success in long term care. Membership

opportunities include district meetings, committees, and vital communications pertaining to

regulatory, legislative, reimbursement, education and other long term care news.

The Trade Show provides you and your company or organization with an opportunity to meet with others in the profession. This event brings together the people, the education, the products and ser-

vices that are essential to the continued growth and success of quality long term care.

Virginia Health Care Association Virginia Center for Assisted Living

2015 ANNUAL TRADE SHOW

THE 2015 EVENT

The VHCA/VCAL Trade Show will be held

Tuesday, September 29th. Long term care professionals representing both nursing and

assisted living facilities will be in attendance. These professionals include facility

administrators, nurse managers, department heads, senior corporate staff members – the

team members that make high-quality long

term care services a reality in Virginia. These professionals are coming to Hampton to see

and discuss how they can enhance their success as caregivers and see first hand the

goods and services needed to provide care.

The 2015 Trade Show can play a vital role in the

marketing, development and profitability of your organization all in one event. Don’t miss this

opportunity to introduce yourself and your products or services to key buyers. Decisions

cannot be reached more effectively than with

product displays and demonstrations.

The Trade Show will be held in conjunction with the 2015 Convention.

The Trade Show will open its doors for

visitors between 1:15 - 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29th. A cocktail

reception will begin at 4:00 p.m. during the Trade Show.

The hours for exhibitor registration and set

up is Tuesday, September 29th from 8:00 - 11:30 a.m.

To ensure show attendance, VHCA/VCAL

Convention meetings and education seminars

have been scheduled strategically to not conflict with the Trade Show hours.

VHCA retains the right to re-quire discontinuation or prohibition of any such activity.

CONVENTION & TRADE SHOW THEME

Ahoy! The theme for this year's VHCA Trade Show and Convention is Long Term Care - navi-

gating the sea change. In these stressful eco-

nomic times, long term care is entering unchart-ed waters. Representing a sea change for Virgin-

ia’s nursing facilities, a number of providers have geared up for the voyage to managed care and

other issues impacting long term care. The 2015

Convention will focus on how the launch of the Commonwealth Coordinated Care program and

other movement toward Medicaid and Medicare managed care has impacted the long term care

provider community.

Long term care providers who are navigating

these challenging times have not been alone. Partnering with our vendors has helped im-

mensely with these transitions. Each of you has done your part to help hold down costs and yet

provide quality products.

VHCA/VCAL encourages exhibitors to embrace

and incorporate the theme, Long Term Care - navigating the sea change, in booth decorations,

games, and prizes. VHCA will sponsor a “Best

Booth” contest to recognize exhibitors for outstanding creativity and utilization of the

theme. A select panel will vote on the “Best Booth” towards the end of the show. Best booth

in keeping with the theme will be announced during cocktails. Winners must be present to

win.

Every exhibitor who contracts with

VHCA/VCAL prior to September 1st will have their company profile listed in the

VHCA/VCAL Buyer’s Guide. The Buyer’s

Guide is a great advertising supplement to our Membership Directory. Those in charge of

purchasing or decision-making reference the Buyer’s Guide throughout the year.

EXHIBITOR SERVICE KIT

Every exhibiting organization will be provided with a comprehensive Exhibitor Service Kit prior to the

show. All necessary information for the 2015 Trade

Show will be in the kit. On-site coordinators will be available at the registration

desk to assist exhibitors with registration, move-in, show operation and move-out.

VIRTUAL FLOORPLAN

All exhibitors have the opportunity to register for

booth space on-line. Exhibitors will have a free

profile listing in our Virtual Floorplan. It will feature company name, product information, contact

name, links to your company’s website and an email link for users to ask questions or to set up

appointments. The Virtual Floorplan is available on

the VHCA website at http://tradeshow.vhca.org/.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Sponsoring selected events, meals and receptions

held during the Convention and Trade Show is an effective and powerful opportunity to showcase

your company’s image to long term care

professionals. VHCA/VCAL members build long lasting relationships with vendors and

organizations that support long term care through financial sponsorship. Detailed information about

sponsorship opportunities will be provided over the next few months. If you’re interested to learn

more, contact Doran Hutchinson at 804.212.1692.

A truly breathtaking experience, Riverfront was designed by renowned golf course architect, Tom Doak. It is situated on the banks of the Nansemond River, near the mouth of the James River.
