It was a great, well-organized, and very professional conference. Several graduated students and me from Sun Yat-Sen University received the travel grant and got the opportunity to share our study results. This not only recognized the importance of our work but also promote globally academic communication. In addition, the reception section provided us a high-level platform to exchange idea and thoughts. At last, I would like to thank the organizers of this great conference and I look forward to attend the next JEA conference.

It was my first trip to Kofu, Japan. Kofu is a very beautiful city with kind inhabitants. This meeting provided researchers a nice platform to share their standpoints. I also benefited from the value comments received during my presentation. All of the events was also well organized. Thanks for a wonderful conference and a beautiful trip. LIZI LIN 1) CHINA 2) DEPARERMENT OF MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH, SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH, SUN YAT-SEN UNIVERSITY 3) One-Child Policy, Weight Status and Lifestyle in Chinese Children born in 1996 to 2007: A National Survey 4) GUANGZHOU, GUANGDONG, CHINA 5) It was my great honor to be chosen as one of the travel grant to come to the the 27th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japan Epidemiological Association. This was my first time to come to Japan, a beautiful and amazing country. Kofu was a peaceful city that we could appreciate MT.Fuji from afar. During my visit, I have learned some advanced thoughts from some Japanese scholars, and we were treated very well in the reception. Meanwhile, I hope my presentation would pass on some information about China’s one child policy. Finally, I would always treasure the memories of my first time spent traveling abroad.

During the meeting I learned a lot, such as cutting-edge epidemiological research methods, currently epidemiological hot issues and the latest scientific researches. In the discussion with other scholars, I learned the experience and was inspired. This is a high level of academic exchange activity, so I am very memorable and look forward to the next time.

I greatly appreciated the opportunity to report our study on the international academic conference and I truly benefited from the valuable feedbacks received during my presentation. The conference provided an excellent platform for researchers to share findings on various topics in both oral and poster sessions, from which I obtained precious information in epidemiology related to life-course health. Finally, thanks to the executive committee for the warm hospitality and I expect to attend the next JEA scientific meeting.
