Patrick Dawson won the first Emer Casey Central Park 5k run onMay 22nd, Conor O’Donoghue second and Jorge Pena was third.The race was organised by Marie O Brien who works for the NYoffice of MOP , a cousin of Emer�s who is currently living andworking in New York, along with David Golden and DaveMohally, from Youghal who is also now living in the Big Apple.While Marie and David did the organisng, Dave Mohally hostedthe post run drinks and food at his bar "Bua" located in the east vil-lage.Plans are already being put in place for next years run!

Setanta O’Hailpin launched the InauguralEmer Casey Melbourne Run at the weekendevent. Having been injured in Aussie Rulesgame the night before, it was extra specialand much appreciated effort on his part. Jennifer Ring a friend of Emer’s currentlyworking and living in Melbourne wasthe organiser of this event.
