Page 2: The 3 Sheep

There once lived three sheep that grazed happily on the yellow grass on the right hand side of the tunnel. One year there was a big drought that covered the right hand side but for some reason the left hand side of the tunnel was still blooming with colour. As the days went on the eldest sheep decided that the would have to risk going through the great wolfs tunnel.

The smallest sheep walked through the tunnel until he met the big bad wolf. The wolf then said,“Come further into my tunnel so I can eat you up.” “No” squeaked the little sheep, “my older brother is coming in next so if I donʼt get out alive he wonʼt come in.” “Fine” said the wolf, “just this time.” So the littlest sheep went out of the tunnel and bleated for his brother to follow.

So the middle sheep walked through the tunnel until he met the big bad wolf. The wolf then said, “Come further into my tunnel so I can eat you up.” “No” bellowed the middle sheep, “my older brother is coming in next so if I donʼt get alive he wonʼt come in.” “Fine” said the wolf, “Just this time.” So the middle sheep went out of the tunnel and bleated for his brother to follow.

Then biggest sheep walked through the tunnel until he met the big bad wolf. The wolf then said, “Come further into my tunnel so I can eat you up.” “No” shouted the biggest sheep, “my older brother is coming in next so if I donʼt get alive he wonʼt come in.” “Fine” said the wolf, “Just this time.” So the biggest sheep went out of the tunnel and bleated for his apparent brother to follow.

The wolf waited and waited for the next sheep to come but obviously no other brother came. The wolf had been outsmarted by the sheep. The sheep ran away and lived happily ever after.
