GUIDELINES FOR ENROLLING ON THE ISHANGO SYSTEM FOR FIRST TIME USERS
April 2019

Welcome Mentor!We appreciate your commitment to mentoring rising African research leaders. Ishango is The AAS Grant Management System that our mentors and mentees will use to register their details and then enable them to sign up for the mentorship scheme. By registering here, you will also access and read The AAS Data Privacy and Protection Policy.
Here are guidelines for registering on The AAS Ishango grant management system: https://aasishango.ccgranttracker.com/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f. These step-by-step guidelines enable you to register your email address, validate and set a new password and create a profile on Ishango and enable you to access the Mentor Enrolment Form.
If you encounter any challenges at any point of your enrolment, do not hesitate to email [email protected] and copy [email protected].

1. Click on the link below and select ‘New User’.
2. Fill in your Email address. Click ‘Next’.

3. Register on Ishango. Ensure you fill in all mandatory fields. Click ‘Next’.

4. Read and accept The AAS Terms and Conditions by ticking in the boxes. Click ‘Submit’.

5. You will receive an email like this one. Click on the link to validate your account and change your password.

7. Select a security question. Click ‘Submit’.
6. Reset your password

8. Fill in your biodata. You may fill in the mandatory fields only if you wish but complete the full form if you can.Click ‘Save’.

9. Well done! Your Ishango profile is now updated. This is the Ishango landing page. Clink on “New Grant Application.”

10. Click on the ‘The AAS Mentorship Scheme – Mentor Enrolment’.

11. The Mentor Enrolment Form has 7 fields which will turn green as you fill in the mandatory fields. Click ‘Next’.

12. This Validation stage confirms that you have filled in all the required information. Click ‘Save and Close’.

13. You will be taken to the submission page. Finally, click ‘Submit’.

14. Voila! Your submitted Mentor Enrolment Form will appear here.
