Your Membership Provides:Up to 650 titles of CLE programs free valued at over $1,950, and exclusive content from the Law Practice and General Practice Divisions valued at $110. Just one of the ways that we’re increasing the value of ABA membership and advancing the legal profession.

The ABA Journal, a monthly legal trade magazine and the flagship publication of the American Bar Association; complemented on the Internet with the ABA Journal Online site and the ABA Journal eReport newsletter.

New Member Enrollment InformationProgram Requirements:Each office, agency or organizational group seeking membership under this program must have five or more participants.

50% of the group must be new members of the ABA at the time of the group’s formation. For example, a group with five current ABA members who are interested in creating a group would need to recruit five new members for a group total of 10.

Each group must identify a single point of contact (Group Administrator) to promote the program and handle all ABA billing, informational and collection activities.

Each individual participant must belong to at least one Section, Division or Forum during every year of membership through this program.

ABA Public Service Group Membership . . . In 3 Easy StepsStep One:Announce the program to new and existing ABA members. For example, you could place this offer on your company/firm/office Intranet page. Complete the first two sections of the Public Service Enrollment Form: A. Organization Information and B. Group Administrator Information.

Step Two:Complete the ABA Group Member Forms, Section C, including Practice Specialty Group selection. For any new lawyer members, original bar admission date and state are required. Affiliated Professional (formerly Associate) membership is available to anyone not admitted to the bar in the U.S.

Step Three:Send the completed enrollment form by mail or email to the following:

Payment—A Unique Group ID will be communicated shortly after your enrollment is completed. Upon enrollment you will receive your organization’s group invoice with the names, ABA IDs and Practice Specialty Group enrollments for all ABA members and Affiliated Professionals (formerly Associate) included in your group account. Annually you can expect to receive an invoice each May.

Group updates can be made any time by sending your roster updates to abagroup@americanbar.org

Subsequent invoices will track your changes and other activity.

ABA dues for Public Service Group Membership are discounted to $95 for lawyers or judges . Dues for Sections, Divisions and Forums are available at the regular rate . Each member of your group is required to belong to at least one Section, Division, or Forum . Additionally, all payments must be submitted by your Group Administrator . Individuals submitting payment will be removed from your Public Service Group account and will be billed the regular public service attorney dues rate of $150 .
