Happy New Year, CAP Team!

What a great year we had in 2011. I watched many of you build your businesses to new heights, and I saw many new Reps soar faster than I’ve ever seen new Reps soar before. We are becoming a smooth-running CAP machine! I think we all are very pleased with the addition

of our new Program Advisors during 2011, and all the extra help and personal attention they have provided our fi eld force. And although I don’t speak with as many of you individually as I used to please know that through your Program Advisors I hear every week about the individual accomplishments of their individual team members, and you know I look for your individual script counts every month. You will never be “just an ID number in a sea of Reps”. Sometimes I feel like Santa Claus, in that I know “when you are bad or good”. So be good for goodness sake!! I am very pleased at the number of Reps who have gone full-time with us and are making a living by distributing free discount prescription cards that help people across the United States. Those of you who are full-time know the satisfaction of choosing your

An Extra Hour

Remember we’ve talked about this, needing an extra hour a day to get things done?

Ponder this whether you are a fan or not or even know how the games work, here is a fact.

Each football game has 4 quarters. So, let’s say there one second left on the clock and the ball is snapped (hiked from center), the clock expires yet the play is still alive until the person with the ball is tackled, runs out of bounds or scores.

A football standing rule is, as long as the ball is in play, even with clock expiring, the play is still valid until the football carrier is tackled or scores.

Is that “out of the box?”

College games & rivalries like Michigan & Wisconsin, have played each other each year for 117 years. They do it every game.

So there you have it, we now have more time!

By Mark Fortier

Yet, we are not playing a ball-game. We are helping people. And we are un-defeated at that, since 2007 !!!

So where is the full hour?

Right in front of us by either sending an email to a friend (NO Spam) or making one more phone call that could lead to referrals. That could give you valuable time whether it be 10 more minutes writing down addresses, or helping someone set up a fund raiser. Either only takes one second to initiate. It happened to me. I merely sent an email to a friend, she replied, “Yes, I’d like to hear more about it, how are you doing with that”? Final message from her was her address and a request for 200 cards. Touchdown!

Many Blessings To You & Yours...

work hours, spending more quality time at the leisure activities you enjoy, spending more time with your friends and family, and having more disposable income than you ever had before.

In 2010 we added the RX Med Assist program. In 2011 we added the CAP Diabetic program. I have no doubt that in 2012 we will enhance our offerings even more to continue our mission of providing our fi eld force with various ways to earn a living, as well as helping all those people who benefi t from the work you do.

You can be proud of an excellent past year, and know that your Program Advisors, along with the NBBI management and support staff, are as committed as ever to helping you have a successful 2012. Make me happy with more success stories. I LOVE hearing them and seeing your results. Your “real-life” individual successes keep me motivated to do the best I can to make this company better right along with you!

All the best in 2012!

Building your residual Income from your Down-line

Sponsoring is one of the income opportunities that NBBI offers us.

After successfully encouraging a person to become a CAP Rep and if you coach him/her well to distribute the cards, you earn 20 cents over-ride commissions over the same script of your down-line. Thus, If your down-line produced

1,000 scripts, s/he would earn $750 and you’d earn $200. This is additional residual income you get on top of your personal scripts! Now, isn’t it great to have more than one?

To get people to join us is not really diffi cult. The enrollment process is easy. The fee is very reasonable. Upon joining, NBBI gives the new Rep 2,500 free cards with his/her assigned numbers.

As a new Rep, s/he has immediate access to two websites - the back-offi ce that provides all relevant marketing materials and different support programs, and another that gives the medical communities and patients more thorough information about CAP plus the ability to check and compare drug prices among different pharmacies. S//he can also distribute the Community Diabetes Program and Pet Cards.

On top of it all, Coaching, Mentoring and Cheer-leading are championed in words and deeds by the National Coordinator, Linda Grinthal together with her Program Advisers.

Finally, s/he will represent a service that does not need “selling.” S/he can help millions of people to save money; plus when they get their medications, they treat their (symptoms and) diseases and further prevent complications especially when they suffer from chronic illnesses like diabetes, cardiovascular problems, arthritis, neurological problems, etc.

Now, everything sounds so good, doesn’t it? So getting a person to become a CAP rep is a walk in the park. However, it is just the beginning of a long enjoyable journey. As a sponsor, to earn the over-ride commissions requires sincerity to help the down-line.

First, we need to invite the “right person.” A “right person” is somebody who is into the game not just for the money but shares the principles we champion, i.e. service and genuine desire to help people.

Income potentials through the CAP are admirable but it is not immediate. It would take three months (or even more) to see the reported scripts and for the commission to be available. Therefore, if your down-line does not fully understand this and does not have the patience because they need to pay the bills “right now,” you will lose this person in a heart beat. Therefore, as you introduce the opportunity, set an appointment to explain everything possible and give him/her time to think. Encourage him/her to do due diligence.

If we want to get the right person, we need to do it right from the very start. We are the anti-thesis of MLM, we do not go for Quantity, and we are for Quality. We need to screen the people we would like to work with. Isn’t it beautiful that in this opportunity, we have the privilege to choose the people we want to work with? Here are some pointers.

By Paul Dantes

• What kind of people do I want to work in my team?

• As you meet the person, evaluate if you would I like to work with him/her? What are the traits that you like/dislike? Refrain from just going out there and interview anybody in any place like supermarket lines or school parking lot. This right person will come to you (Law of attraction). Just make sure that you are ready to talk to her/him when the opportunity is at hand.

• Know the business by heart. You are the fi rst person your down-line will trust in this business. Trusting you is the reason why they joined the CAP program. Teach them the basics of the business.

• Although Linda Grinthal or the Program Adviser would not mind teaching the basics we, as sponsors, have the moral obligation to show how to be successful here. That’s the reason why NBBI gives us the over-rides on a continuous basis. It is not a one-time over-ride commission, it is a long-term month per month, year per year over-ride commission because NBBI knows the effort invested in helping a down-line.

• Hold your down-line as tight as you can. Love them, inspire them, teach them to become more successful. Be there for them and congratulate them when they do something good. Remember it is lonely in the fi eld, and easy to get discouraged or negative and fade off into the sunset.

• Lead from the Front. Lead with integrity and by example. Show them that you also make things happen.

Leadership means the Leader ships - a living example is one of the best ways to inspire your down-line. When you have performance, you are pumped. You are enthusiastic. You are contagious. You are infectious and it would positively rub onto your down-line especially those who are not doing so well.

• Lead from the front. Go out. Talk to people. Visit doctors’ offi ces, call medical facilities, etc. As you do this, you will encounter concerns, issues, objections, rejections. Learn from it. In this way, when your down-line seek your advice, you can give them answers to help them over-come certain situations that you went through in the past.

• Be involved. Monitor your down-line’s performance. It is easy because you will see it in your back-offi ce. Create your own spreadsheet that paints a picture of their progress. Give them feedback, show your concern, offer your help.

• Be gentle in following up. Ask them their plans, encourage them to do it. Share your feedback about their plans. Monitor their progress. Inspire them not to give up.

How to do all these things? Speak with them at least once a week. Spend 10 minutes. Listen and don’t talk too much. It is an art but of course, through practice you will get it.

NOW, isn’t it fun to be a sponsor and earn those over-rides? Let’s go back to my topic – Building your residual income through your down-line. There really is no secret here. It is pure and simple common sense. A lot of sincerity. Tons of love.

First off, hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Being surrounded by those we love and that love us certainly is a warm reminder of how fortunate we all are. Obviously, we are all faced with “challenges” to different degrees, but what we all have in common is the reality that we get to represent an incredible company such as

NBBI that not only allows us to earn a signifi cant income for helping others, but is run by caring owners that constantly look for new ways to make this opportunity even better. Add to this the top notch training we receive from Linda Grinthal, and the amazing support of all the members of the staff which should never be taken for granted, and you have a vastly superior business model to any that I have personally been associated with. Though I am very proud and honored to be a Program Advisor of a wonderful team of individuals and focal point for the Rx Med Assist program, I am fi rst and foremost a representative with all the freedoms that come with this enviable position, and I am constantly amazed with the opportunities that currently exist and are waiting to be explored. Hopefully you feel the same way and fully grasp the concept of TEAM which to me means:

Together

Each

Achieves

More

Toward that goal, I wanted to end with a specifi c bit of training that I believe will be very helpful for you. One of my “challenges” in the beginning was accepting how few cards were actually used, in relationship to how many were distributed. I have since learned that the “average” is around 1 to 2 percent. Considering how incredibly valuable they are, I thought there must be ways to increase that percentage. The one I am most excited about was changing the letter I sent with the cards slightly, to indicate to my health professional clients how important it was to actually give their patient a card with each prescription. If you want to see the actual letter I use, please email me at: [email protected] and I will be glad to share it with you. Take care and be well.

There is one recipe though which I have for you which you can use all year and feast on liberally.

New Beginnings

NBBI Holiday Party 2011 Pictures

What an incredible ending to 2011 and here we are 2012…I love new beginnings!

“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” - Seneca

I would fi rst like to say thank you to Kevin, Barry and Ray for this incredible opportunity for all of

us to improve our livelihood and take care of our families while the economy is in turmoil. True visionaries! When you hear the phrase right place, right time…this is it!

I have to mention NBBI’s fi rst National Convention in Las Vegas…WOW. First class all the way! Meeting and getting to know all of you were amazing not to mention the food and venue itself. I look forward to seeing all of you again this year and seeing new faces as well. NBBI did this…all for us! Thank you!

And to team Hogle, which I refer as…

“The Dream Team”, it has been a privilege working with all of you. Seeing you and your business grow is truly exciting. You are all amazing! This is a NEW YEAR and new beginnings so let’s start the 2012 upbeat and strong!

By Joanne Hogle

Going forward we are all in a position to make a real impact in the lives of many who are faced with poor or no health care. The Community Assistance Program has become that valuable and reliable resource in hospitals and clinics around the country, making our program one to be sought.

Make 2012 your year! Open your eyes and recognize the opportunity that has been given to you. Help those you have sponsored become successful; I promise it is worth your time. One of my old sayings, WORK = PAY! In life success comes from within…dig deep and go for it!

Never let life impede on your ability to manifest your dreams. Dig deeper into your dreams and deeper into yourself and believe that anything is possible, and make it happen.

Much success!

Frank’s Tips and Trends

I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing time with their families and friends this holiday season. I want to express my gratitude to all of you on our team that worked tirelessly last year in giving out CAP cards and building your businesses. You helped a lot of people who could otherwise not afford their medications with

our wonderful program and I truly thank you for making it possible.

Many of you who were new to the business last year showed tremendous growth in a very short period of time. And, there were many experienced reps who continued to build your business in a strong and consistent manner.

We all hear about New Year’s resolutions and how most people don’t keep them because of a lack of commitment. Well, I think it is time to change that and prove the pundits wrong! What are your business resolutions for 2012 and are you committed to keeping them? Because you all have the ability to make this business as big as you desire.

The ingredients for success are in place for you. We are in the best business where we share, not sell, a prescription savings card as a community service program. Current numbers show that we have barely scratched the surface in regards to script counts and there is so much growth potential that awaits us. The principals at NBBI and the front offi ce support truly care about your success. The principals are always looking to introduce innovate products thinking long-term. The front offi ce staff and all the Program Advisors are here to provide you with the full training and support to help you build a strong business.

So, let’s start the New Year off right and take the necessary action steps to make this your Best Year Ever. Number One: Order 25K cards minimum monthly and distribute to the right locations. Number Two: Listen to the training calls Number Three: Utilize Your back offi ce operations. If you Work It As A Business, It Will Work For You.

Have faith and belief in what you are doing and there is nothing that can stop you from reaching your goals and your dreams. Greater successes lie ahead for all of you and we are behind you all the way.

Remember, we are in a truly, unique business. The more we can help people in need, the more we can help ourselves and our families.

Kim’s Kolleagues

Refl ecting back on 2011, I struggle to come to terms with how a year can be the BEST and saddest year in one’s life. As many of you know, I lost my mom to lung cancer in March and in the same month I began my wonderful journey with NBBi as a Program Advisor, watching my team grow and become one. I have made many new

friends this year thru our phone conversations, conference calls, and one on one time thru our meetings, and I had the pleasure of meeting some of you in person at our very 1st annual convention in Las Vegas in October.

I’m proud of each of my team members who have embraced this wonderful business we’re in and I look forward to helping those who want to take their NBBi business to the next level in 2012! Let’s work together to set a goal, specifi cally to reach out and help those who are less fortunate in our communities and across the US. We have the means to make this happen! As Nike says, “Just Do It” !

As always, our FEARLESS leaders have given each of us the tools and resources to grow our business - the Rx Med Assist program is well under way and the brand new diabetic program was rolled out in November. Our back offi ce is better than ever (thanks to those of you who have made this possible) and a HUGE thanks to Linda for all of the wonderful training sessions, not only via conference call(s), but, our one on one time with our team members across the US.

I will soon be celebrating my 3 year anniversary with NBBi, and I just want to take this opportunity to say that I truly enjoy being a part of such a WONDERFUL family. The offi ce staff each work diligently in helping each us in any way they can, making our jobs easier, even though I must admit, it really doesn’t feel like a job to me.

I want to personally thank Kevin, Barry and Ray for making 2011 the BEST YEAR YET, I look forward to many, many more to come. I also want to say “THANK YOU” for giving me the opportunity to serve and to help others prosper in their NBBI business as well. I truly enjoy watching my team grow and be the best they can be. And to my fellow PA’s, I want to say it’s been a true pleasure working with each of you this year, I count each of you as a true friend and confi dant! Here is to a prosperous 2012 for the entire NBBi family!

And remember, the more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate, by Oprah Winfrey.

Wilson’s Words of Wisdom

CHRISTMAS EVERY DAY

I don’t need to tell you that there’s something special about the Christmas season. There’s something about this time of year that ignites a spirit of generosity in people that is manifested during no other time of the year. Even strangers seem to go out of their way to be especially

kind and considerate during the Christmas season. And that spirit of kindness is not limited only to those of the Christian faith. People of all faiths can’t help but be infected by the spirit of Christmas, whether they celebrate it or not. So in honor of the miracle of Christmas, I am going to share with you a few of the testimonials I’ve received during the year from people who used our prescription drug discount card. I don’t normally share testimonials. I know Linda often requests testimonials from the reps in the fi eld, but I have always resisted her request for the following reason. It has to do with something Jesus said in the sixth chapter of the book of Matthew.

Matt 6:1-4

Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. KJV.

This scripture may not be 100% applicable in our case but for me it’s close enough. Call me crazy, but I guess I was programmed not to seek glory for doing good deeds. But since this is the Christmas season and these testimonials may serve to inspire some of you, I will share a few of them now.

I received a call early one morning around 6 AM from an elderly lady in her 80s. To the best of my recollection, the following is what she said. “I know it’s early but I just had to call you and thank you for this prescription drug card. A friend gave it to me yesterday, and I saved over $60 on my medicine. I couldn’t wait another minute to let you know what a blessing you have been. I thank you and God is going to bless you.”

Although she told me her name I regret to say I don’t remember it. It was 6 AM after all and I was still asleep when the phone rang.

I received another call from Sharon H. of Nevada. She introduced herself as a case manager at a Nevada hospital and went on to say that she had a patient who she had been trying to help get her much needed medication. She had exhausted all her resources and still the medication, the price of which was more than $200, was too expensive. She wanted to know if our card would help. While she was still on the phone, I looked up the price of the medication for her. I told her that her patient could get the generic brand of the medication for $32.52. She responded with a very loud “OH H**L YEA”. Her response

By Wilson D. Marion caught me off guard but I completely understood her excitement. She followed it up with “Thank you so much” before hanging up the phone.

This is my last story. A lady called me about 9 PM one evening. She wanted to know if I would look up the price of her medication for her. I replied with an enthusiastic “Yes! Just give me the name and dosage of your meds and your zip code and I will be happy to get the information for you. I expected her to give me the name of two or three meds. Instead she had a list of 15 different medications. She explained that the total cost of her medications was over $1500 and she simply couldn’t afford it. After explaining to her that I would have to call her back with the information because it would take too long for me to look it up while she remained on the phone, I spent the next 35 min. researching the price of each medication. When it was all done all 15 prescriptions came to just over $600. That’s still a lot but it is a far cry from $1500, and she was more than happy with the news.

Let me end by saying what you already know. Part of what makes Christmas special is the joy of freely giving to others without inhibition. There is something about doing this that just makes you feel good. And part of what makes our business special is that we can experience that joy each and every day of the year.

Have a very Merry Christmas

and a very prosperous new year

Wilson Marion
