The Amorites Since Joshua specifies that our choice must be between the god of the Amorites and Jahwah, we must take a look at the Amorites themselves in order to understand exactly what takes place at Shechem. Jubilees 29:11 refers to the Amorites as an evil and sinful people whose wickedness surpasses that of any on earth. The Amorites were members of an ancient Semitic-speaking people who dominated the history of Mesopotamia (Babylonia), Syria, and Palestine from about 2000 BC to about 1600 BC. Around 1900 BC, a group of Semites - Canaanites - called the Amorites - had managed to gain control of most of the Mesopotamian region. Like the Akkadians, the Amorites centralized the government over the individual city-states and based their capital in the city of Babylon, which was originally called Akkad and served as the center of the Amorite empire. The AMORITES ARE CALLED THE OLD BABYLONIANS and the period of their ascendancy over the region, which lasted from 1900-1600 BC, is called the Old Babylonian period. Almost all of the local kings in Babylonia (such as Hammurabi of Babylon) belonged to this stock.

The word Amorite yrma means sayer or a babbler (he is a sayer rather than a doer1); a TOWER.2 or the high one; bitter; a rebel. The Definitions of the individual Hebrew characters are as follows:

a Alef - It is the first character of the alphabet in nearly all known idioms. It represents UNIVERSAL MAN, mankind, THE RULING BEING OF THE EARTH; it represents power.

m Mem - CHAOS

r Resh - THE HEAD OF MAN; his determining movement, his progress.

y Jod - Represents the HAND OF MAN (his works while here upon earth); the forefinger.

SUMMARY: The Amorite represents MAN AS RULING THE EARTH; due to MAN’S WORKS and DETERMINING HIS OWN WAY, he has REBELLED, EXCEEDED JAHWAH’S AUTHORITY, and built a TOWER unto himself. Because of this rebellion, he has brought great CHAOS upon the earth. Satan, THE FALLEN ANGEL, is their king.

The term Amorite is used to represent the peoples of Canaan as a whole in Genesis 15:16:

In the fourth generation, your (Abraham’s) descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites HAS NOT YET REACHED ITS FULL MEASURE.

Gen 15:16 - They shall come hither again - Hither to the land of Canaan, wherein thou now art. The reason why they must not have the land of promise in possession till the fourth generation is because THE INIQUITY OF THE AMORITES WAS NOT YET FULL. Just what is Abraham’s seed to possess and rule over? - the EARTH!

Psalms 37:8-34: Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For EVILDOERS SHALL BE CUT OFF: but those that wait upon Jahwah, they WILL INHERIT THE EARTH. For yet a little while, and THE WICKED WILL BE NO MORE; though you look for them, they will not be found. BUT THE MEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace…

Those Jahwah blesses WILL INHERIT THE EARTH, but THOSE HE CURSES WILL BE CUT OFF… Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell/remain/rest for evermore/eternity. For Jahwah loves the just and will not FORSAKE HIS SAINTS. They are preserved for eternity (olam), but the seed of the WICKED WILL BE CUT OFF. The righteous will inherit the EARTH and dwell thereon FOREVER/for eternity… Wait for Jahwah and keep his way. He will exalt you to possess the EARTH. When the WICKED ARE CUT OFF/DESTROYED, you will see it.

Matthew Henry’s Commentary on the Whole Bible states:

The reason why they must not have the land of promise in possession till the fourth generation WAS BECAUSE THE INIQUITY OF THE AMORITES WAS NOT YET FULL. ISRAEL CANNOT BE POSSESSED OF CANAAN TILL THE AMORITES BE DISPOSSESSED; and they are not yet ripe for ruin. The righteous G-d has determined that they shall not be cut off till they have persisted in sin so long, and arrived at such a pitch of wickedness, that there may appear some equitable proportion between their sin and their ruin; and therefore, till it come to that, THE SEED OF ABRAM MUST BE KEPT OUT OF POSSESSION.

The seed of Abram/the overcomers/the Body of Jahshuwah are to rule over the earth. As previously stated, the Amorite represents man’s rule on the earth, thus they cannot be destroyed from the earth until their cup of sin is full. Their cup is now full and running over. It is time for the Body of Jahshuwah to stand up and take command; therefore ALL the gods of the Amorites (including the moon god) must be eradicated from our lives. Revelation 18:4-6:

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and Jahwah hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her DOUBLE ACCORDING TO HER WORKS in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. (She is judged on the WORKS OF THE TORAH.)

Such wicked kings as Ahab (urged on by Jezebel) and Manasseh followed the ways of the Amorites and became even more wicked than they.

1 Kings 21:25 & 26: But THERE WAS NONE LIKE UNTO AHAB, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of Jahwah, WHOM JEZEBEL HIS WIFE STIRRED UP. And he did very abominably in following idols, ACCORDING TO ALL THINGS AS DID THE AMORITES, whom Jahwah cast out before the children of Israel.

King Jeroboam of the House of Israel created false festivals according to the MOON worship of the golden calf – false appointed times for meeting with Jahwah. Omri followed in the footsteps of Jeroboam, thus doing more evil than all of the kings before him.3 Then along came his son Ahab, who continued the same false set-time ordinances, thus Israel’s sin became ripe for Jahwah’s judgment.

Micah 6:16: You have observed the SET-TIME ORDINACES of Omri (to manipulate, deal tyrannically with, to treat as a slave; My sheaves are bound) and all the practices of the House of Ahab and YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THEIR TRADITIONS. Therefore I will give you over to ruin and your people to derision; you will bear the scorn of the nations.

Guess what? The House of Judah did the same thing: and followed after the Amorites. In fact, Jahwah states this had been a problem ever since He brought them out of Egypt thus he is going use the same measuring line over them that He used on the House of Ahab- 2 Kings 21:11 – 15:

Because Manasseh (who causes to forget) king of Judah hath done these abominations, and HATH DONE WICKEDLY ABOVE ALL THAT THE AMORITES DID, which were before him, and has made Judah also to sin with his idols; Therefore thus saith Jahwah Elohim of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem (the earthly Jerusalem, represented by Hagar, whose son was disinherited4) and Judah, which whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle (Or, everyone who hears about it will be stunned or, the ears of all to whom the news comes will be burning). Then I will measure Jerusalem with the measuring line used for Samaria and THE PLUMB LINE USED FOR THE HOUSE OF AHAB. I will wipe

out Jerusalem in the same way that a dish is wiped out and turned upside down. Jahwah was so disgusted with their worship of idols, He even called their father an Amorite – Ezekiel 16:1 - 3:

The Word of Jahwah (Jahshuwah) came to me: Son of man, CONFRONT JERUSALEM with HER DETESTABLE PRACTICES And say, This is what Sovereign Jahwah says to Jerusalem (Jerusalem - The whole race of the Jews5): Your ancestry and birth were in the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.

The PILLAR by the OAK in Shechem is the place for choosing the KING we will

serve, and the time for choosing is Shavuot: Judges 9:6: All the men of Shechem and all the HOUSE OF MILLO (the house is FULL)6 assembled together;

then they went and caused/ made Abimelech (My father is

king) to reign as king at the PILLAR by the OAK in Shechem.

God of The Amorites Jahwah gave Israel specific instructions against worshipping the gods of the Amorites; of course they obeyed Jahwah – RIGHT? Wrong!!!! Judges 6:10:

And I said to you, I am Jahwah your Elohim; YOU ARE NOT TO GIVE WORSHIP TO THE GODS OF THE AMORITES in whose land you are living, but you have not OBEYED MY VOICE.

Joshua had already confirmed this when he said: Choose this day whom you will serve – the god of the Amorites or Jahwah. Why did Joshua specifically name the elohim of the Amorites? What was their sin? They worshipped the SEVEN PLANETS, especially the MOON; they believed the seven planets were gods and goddesses who controlled their lives. The very first city that lay at the entrance into the Land of Dabar/Promise/Word was Jericho, the City of the Moon God – the city that Jahwah commanded to be destroyed and never erected again – Joshua 6:26:

Then Joshua made them take an oath at that time, saying, "Cursed before Jahwah is the man who rises up and builds this city Jericho; with the loss of his firstborn, he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son, he will set up its gates."

The Word very clearly proclaims that this City representing the MOON GOD & its lunar calendar IS NOT TO BE REBUILT. Why did Jahwah require it be destroyed and never be rebuilt? Did Jahwah really mean this or not? Let’s go to the Word for clarification - 1 Kings 16:34:

While Ahab was king, a man from Bethel (the House of El) named Hiel (the mighty one lives) rebuilt the town of Jericho (the city of the moon/moon god). He laid the foundation thereof with the loss of Abiram (My father/prince is exalted7) his first-born, and set up the gates thereof with the loss of his youngest son Segub (be inaccessibly high), according to the word of Jahwah, which he spake by Joshua (Jahwah is salvation) the son of Nun (everlasting).

In the beginning of his building, Jahwah took away Hiel’s firstborn, and the youngest when he finished it. Thus he found by his own sad experience, the truth of Jahwah’s word. Hiel lived in Bethel where Jeroboam had, just like Aaron at Mt. Sinai, erected worship of the Golden Calf again; Jeroboam had also erected one at DAN (judgment). This golden calf represented the worship of the MOON GOD, Apis. 7 John 8:44: Ye are of your FATHER THE DEVIL, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and ABODE NOT IN THE TRUTH (the Torah is the Truth) because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

So where the Gate of Heaven had once appeared to Jacob causing him to erect the House of Jahwah now stands the very House of Satan in the form of the golden calf. Just what does this image represent? The first thing to note is the SERPENT that sets between the horns of the calf, thus representing the worship of Satan, the FALSE/COUNTERFEIT LIGHT; he is not the true LIGHT, which is represented by the SUN. The second item to notice is the HORNS of the calf. They represent the CRESCENT MOON and are symbolic of POWER. So now we have the SERPENT and his POWER represented in this calf. The final item to notice is the round disk on top of the horns. Many scholars bring this forth as representative of the SUN, but this assumption is NOT ACCURATE. Apis was a MOON GOD not a SUN GOD. This round disk represents the FULL MOON and has nothing to do with the true light. It represents the COUNTERFEIT LIGHT at its height of glory – of Satan ruling as god of this earth. So just what does this GOLDEN CALF of Apis represent? Let’s go back to time when Jeroboam erected the two calves and see if the Scriptures will reveal the meaning – 1 King 12:25-33:

Jeroboam rebuilt/repaired Shechem 8 in the hills of Ephraim and lived there; then from there, he went and fortified Peniel.9

Jeroboam thought to himself: The kingdom will now return to the House of David. If these people go up to offer sacrifices in the House of Jahwah at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn again to their owner/master, to Rehoboam the king of Judah. They will kill me and return to Rehoboam the king of Judah.

Did you catch the drift? Jeroboam repairs SHECHEM, THE PLACING OF CHOOSING THE ELOHIM of the Amorites or Jahwah, the elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Shechem was destroyed back in the days of Abimelech. After the death of his father, Gideon, Abimelech with presumptuous impudence sought to make himself king. He cunningly appealed to the landowners of Shechem through his mother’s influential family. Upon obtaining their financial support, he hired some ruffians, went to his father’s house at Ophrah, and there massacred his half brothers upon a single stone. Of the 70 half brothers, only the youngest, Jotham, escaped the slaughter.

Abimelech was then proclaimed king at Shechem at the Pillar of Witness – Judges 9:6:

The leaders of Shechem, including the priests and the military officers, met at the oak next to the SACRED PILLAR in Shechem TO CROWN ABIMELECH KING.

But Jahwah allowed a bad spirit to develop between the citizens of Shechem and their NEW KING in order to avenge the BLOODGUILT of all those connected with the conspiracy. A revolt was organized by one of the citizens of Shechem, but Abimelech quickly crushed it by destroying the city of Shechem - Judges 9:45:

He and his troops fought in Shechem all day, until they had killed everyone in town. Then he and his men tore down the houses and buildings and SOWED IT WITH SALT.

In ancient times when cities were destroyed, they were sowed with salt as noting a total desolation. The Treasury of Scriptural Knowledge brings forth an interesting bit of history regarding the sowing of salt:

Hence the sowing of a place with salt was a custom in different nations to express permanent desolation. Sigonius observes, that when Milan was taken, 1162 AD, the walls were razed, and it was sown with salt. And Brantome informs us, that it was an ancient custom in France, TO SOW THE HOUSE OF A MAN WITH SALT, WHO HAD BEEN DECLARED A TRAITOR TO HIS KING.

Now back to dear old Jeroboam. He is worried, as he knows the people must serve an elohim, but he does not want his people returning to the worship of Jahwah at Jerusalem; therefore he now plots a scheme to prevent this from happening. He erects the worship of Apis, the moon god - the GOLDEN CALF. Let’s see how he accomplishes this – 1 kings 12:28-31::

After seeking advice, the king made TWO GOLDEN CALVES. He said to the people: It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. Here are you GODS, O Israel, WHO BROUGHT YOU UP OUT OF EGYPT. (They were brought out of Egypt in a LUNAR YEAR, thus Jeroboam is proclaiming the MOON to be the god that brought them out of Egypt instead of Jahwah! Those remaining in the lunar year of rehearsal have once again chosen Apis as the god who brought them out of Egypt.) He set one up in Bethel (the House of El) and the other in Dan (JUDGMENT). (Remember the judgment of Jahwah begins in His HOUSE.)

Thus this thing became a sin, for the people went to Bethel to worship before the one and all the way to Dan to worship the other. Jeroboam built a House of Bamot and appointed priests from all sorts of people, even though they were not Levites (a FALSE PRIESTHOOD IS INSTALLED – one not of Jahwah).

What gods are worshipped in a House of Bamoth? It is the same old story; they are once again worshiping the SEVEN PLANETS. King Josiah, upon finding the lost covenant in the wall of the House of Jahwah, immediately tore down the HOUSE OF BAMOT that had been erected by The House of Judah - 2 Kings 23:5:

He got rid of the pagan priests whom the kings of Judah had appointed to sacrifice at the places of BAMOT in the cities of Judah and all around Jerusalem. They had been sacrificing to Baal: THE SUN, THE MOON, AND THE PLANETS – to all the host of heaven.

Now that a FALSE PRIESTHOOD has been ordained by Jeroboam, the very next thing that must be done is to erect COUTERFEIT FESTIVALS FOR THIS MOON GOD. Continuing with verse 32 of 1 Kings 12:

He instituted a festival on the fifteenth day of the eighth month (a FALSE SUKKOT – FEAST OF TABERNACLES), like the festival held in Judah, and offered sacrifices on the altar. This he did in the House of El (Bethel), sacrificing to the MOON GOD, the calves he had made. He also installed counterfeit priests/ministers at Bamoth he had made at Bethel.

All who choose the MOON GOD of the Amorites at Shavuot will enter a FALSE FEAST OF TABRNACLES – a place not protected during the Great Tribulation that is coming upon the earth. Now let’s discuss this MOON God of the Amorites. It is a well-known fact that the Samaritans were transplanted to the land of Israel from ancient Babylonia, as related in 2 Kings 17. What is not well known is their connection with the ANCIENT AMORITES and their mutual god Yahweh. The Samaritans were descendants of the ancient Amorites and remained in the region of Babylonia after the collapse of Dynasty I of Babylon. Mari was the name of their kingdom before Dynasty I of Babylon. The god of the ancient

Amorites was yawi, also spelled yawe, yahwi, or yahweh.

Nimrod, as god of the Mysteries, was worshipped under many different names.

Yahweh was just one of the numerous names of Nimrod. The Amorites worshipped Nimrod as Yawi and Semiramis as Mari. Professor Freedman of the University of Michigan plainly shows that the ancient Amorites in their idolatrous worship used the pronunciation yawi or yahwi. The Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament, a most prestigious work in the field of Hebrew studies, rejects all attempts to link Yahweh with the Tetragrammaton. Among the ancient Phoenicians, Nimrod was known as Yareah (a variation of the word yareach denoting the moon god from which Jericho comes – the city of the moon god Yareach ) and Semiramis as Anat or Anath. Renowned lecturer, A. H. Sayce, states that Professor Hommel indicates the Hebrew “Yahweh” appeared to have been the TITLE OF THE MOON-GOD among the Western Semites of BABYLONIA.10 The moon-god, was the ruler of the starry hosts of heaven. He was called “the lord of hosts.” In ancient times, before the birth of Abraham in Ur of Chaldees, Yahweh was identified with THE MOON-GOD OF BABYLONIA. Through ancient finds, the name of Yahweh has also been found to be associated with Seir, Paran and Syria.11

That the name Yahweh is of Amoritic ORIGIN IS LITTLE DISPUTED BY SCHOLARS. Nor is the fact that the Amoritic name of Yahweh has no connection with the Tetragrammaton much disputed. Although dictionaries and commentaries still promote Yahweh as the pronunciation, one must remember that this assertion is based on research that has been conducted in the last 150 YEARS. This research has later been shown to be defective and incomplete. The son brought forth in this moon-god worship is most often Yah-shua or Yah-shuwa. Let’s take a look at the meaning of shuwa in the Strong’s Concordance. No. 7770 Shuwa is a Canaanite/Amorite Word same as 7769 shuwa, meaning cry, RICHES. No. 7771 has the very same CONSONANTS and means LIBERAL and RICH. The name of Jahshuwah, which contains the exact name of Jahwah, is derived from No. 8668 te-shuwah and means to rescue, deliverance, safety, victory, and SALVATION.

So you must choose which one you want to be king of your life – the liberal 12 son of riches (the love of money is the root of all evil) or the son that brings victory and SALVATION. The golden calf erected in defiance of Jahwah’s appointed festivals was made in the image of Apis the moon god. The horns of the bull denoted the crescent moon and the round disk over the horns, denoted the FULL MOON. This whole worship of the golden calf still prevails in modern Judaism. They proclaim Yahweh – the god of the Amorites - to be the one and only elohim and set all of the annual feasts according to the MOON and set the weekly Sabbaths according to the pagan week honoring the SEVEN PLANETARY GODS. It is almost a certainty that all those worshipping Yahweh will continue keeping his annual feasts set according to MOON. They will enter the WIDE GATE and refuse to enter Jahwah’s Creation Calendar. They continue to defile the NAME of their Creator - 1 Esdras 9:10:

But they which be created, have defiled THE NAME of him that made them, and were unthankful unto him which prepared life for them.

Now let’s take a look at the name of Jahwah hwhy and consider the definitions of each of the Hebrew characters:

y (jod) - The symbol of ALL MANIFESTED POWER.

h (hey) - UNIVERSAL LIFE.

w (waw) - The Symbol of true LIGHT not a false light. Definitions of characters written in sequence:

hy (Jod Hey) - Absolute life manifested, ETERNITY, the ETERNAL LIVING BEING.

wh (Hey waw) - Every LUMINOUS manifestation (that which emits LIGHT, the sun being the most luminous body).

hw (waw hey) - Denotes the roaring of a LION (as in the Lion of Judah).

hwh (hey waw hey) - In an universal sense, it is the LIFE OF LIFE.

In summary: Jahwah is UNIVERSAL LIFE – without Him there IS NO LIFE. He is ETERNAL and is the one and only TRUE LIGHT; ALL POWER comes from Him. The moon symbolizes the counterfeit light of Satan and the Sun denotes Jahwah and His son Jahshuwah. 3 Baruch 9:1-713 reveals much TRUTH behind MOON WORSHIP:

I said to the Angel of Jahwah: “Teach me what the MOON is”… I Baruch said, Jahwah, why does it sometimes wax and sometimes wane (just like we do in our walk with Jahwah through the wilderness).”

Then He said to me: “Listen, Baruch, it was beautiful. But when the first-created Adam sinned, having listened to Satanael, when he took the SERPENT AS HIS GARMENT, the moon did not hide but on the contrary shone forth, and Jahwah was angered by it. He then made naked/uncovered/lay bare its DAYS TO AFFLICTION” (the lunar walk through the wilderness are days of affliction, a winnowing by Satan)14.

Previous to the fall, Adam and Even wore garments of LIGHT. When they sinned, these garments of light (these garments were not regular clothes as we know them) were removed and they were NAKED – they had put on the garments of Satan, who had no light. Jahwah’s garment is like the SUN – Odes of Solomon 11:10-1915:

I abandoned the folly cast upon the earth (removed Satan’s kingship of darkness – his garment – his covering), and stripped it off and cast it from me.

Then He took me to His Paradise (the Garden of Eden), Wherein is the wealth of Jahwah’s pleasure… (The fruit-bearing trees) Their branches were flourishing and their fruits were shining; their roots were from an IMMORTAL LAND. And a river of gladness was irrigating them and the region round about them in the land of eternal life. Then I adored Jahwah because of his magnificence/glory. And I said, “Blessed, O Jahwah, are they who are planted in Your land, and who have a place in Your Paradise; And who grow in the growth of your trees, and have PASSED FROM DARKNESS (the wilderness over which the moon – the counterfeit light – rules, symbolizing Satan and the fallen angel) INTO LIGHT (over which the sun rules and is symbolic of Jahwah and the Land of Dabar, the Living Word).”

Even though Baruch 4 is a pseudepigraphic book, it brings forth an interesting narrative of where the KEYS to the temple have been stored since the destruction of the temple. The author discusses the events surrounding the conquest of Jerusalem and the destruction of the temple by the Babylonians in 587 BC. According to him, the night before the catastrophe, Jahwah told Jeremiah that because of the sins of the people, the holy city was going to be delivered into the hands of the Chaldeans. Jeremiah is instructed to entrust the vessels of the temple to the earth and the KEYS of the temple to the SUN – 4 Baruch 4:1-716:

This is exactly the reason the United States cannot close her borders down and keep out the illegal aliens that flooding over the borders. Jahwah has opened her land to the terrorists for destruction because they are FALSE STEWARDS of His Torah. The Second Book of Esdras, also known as the Apocalypse of Ezra or 4 Ezra is a Jewish apocalypse written in the last decade of the 1st century AD and was popular in the early churches. The author discuses the narrow gate, and brings forth a very visual scenario. He states that in the end only a FEW will enter that narrow gate to safety. The remnant entering the narrow gate is given Jahwah’s name and will bring glory to Him. Since few have access to this book, time and space has been allocated to reveal this outstanding adaptation - 2 Esdras 7:1-26; 47-5117:

When I had finished speaking, the same angel was sent to me as on the previous nights.

Therefore why are you so upset at the thought that you are a corruptible and mortal man? Why don’t you concentrate on the future world instead of the present world? For an evil heart has grown strong in us, which has alienated us from Jahwah, and has brought us into corruption and the ways of death, and opened up to us the way to ruin, and carried us far away from life. It has destroyed not only a few, but ALMOST EVERYONE WHO WAS EVER CREATED. The angel replied: Listen to me and I will give you further instruction and correction… As you say, only a few people are righteous/just, while the wicked are numerous/abound. But listen to the explanation: If you had only a few precious stones, would you add lumps of lead and clay to them in order to have more? Surely no one would do that, sir, I answered. Take another illustration, he continued. The earth herself will give you the answer if you humbly ask her Whether she produces more gold, silver, copper, iron, lead, or clay. There is more silver than gold, more copper than silver, more iron than copper, more lead than iron, and more clay then lead. So judge for yourself which are more precious and desirable – those which are plentiful, or those which are rare. The Unmasking of

It is time to unmask the deceiver of all deceivers, the one and only who has DECEIVED THE WHOLE WORLD! This is truly the crossroads of separating the Wheat from the Tares. Those following after the counterfeit Jews will not under any circumstances accept the unmasking. There is truly a SWORD that divides at the Shavuot! There is a crossroads at this feast. There is no entering into Sukkot – the TRUE Feast of Tabernacles until the king of the Amorites is unmasked and defeated.

The whole of the wilderness walk is one of overcoming Satan and his kingship. The wilderness walk is now nearing its conclusion and the time for crossing the Jordan is at hand. It is therefore time to bring forth the covenant, which is a codicil to the covenant given at Mount Horeb. It is Jahwah’s covenant given to the OVERCOMERS just before crossing the Jordan and entering the Land of Dabar, the Living Word. It is the same covenant (the book of Deuteronomy), which was found by the high priest in the walls of the temple during the time of King Josiah.18

Deuteronomy 29:1: These are the terms of the covenant, which Jahwah commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in

THE LAND OF MOAB, IN ADDITION to the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.

When previously discussing Deuteronomy 29, we skipped verse 7, so now it is time to zero in on its meaning. Before Jahwah gives the overcomers this next covenant, two kings must be defeated. There is no receiving this covenant until these two Amorite kings are overcome. These kings guard entrance into the Land of Dabar. Let’s begin to read in Deuteronomy 1:2 -4:

It takes 11 days to go from Mount Horeb to Kadesh Barnea by way of Mount Seir.

The Wilderness walk has been one of a journey in the LUNAR YEAR calendar, which is approximately 354 days in duration. In the Land of Dabar, we enter Jahwah’s Creation Calendar containing a SOLAR YEAR, which is approximately eleven days longer than a lunar year, i.e. 365 days. The previous Scripture brings this fact forth in a type of parable, if we have ears to hear. When in the wilderness, two names were given to the mountain of the burning bush – Mount Sinai and Mount Horeb. Sinai denotes the MOON and Mount Horeb denotes the SUN. Had we been obedient and chosen Mount Horeb, we would have been winnowed by the devil 11 days via Mount Seir and then arrived at Kadesh Barnea, the place of going into the land. (Numbers 13 & 14). Kadesh Barnea is defined as:

Kadesh – means a holy sanctuary. Bar = denotes wheat that has been chosen, winnowed and is still standing in the field (the world). (The wheat are those that have been winnowed by Satan; they have overcome Satan and are still standing.) Nea from nuwa meaning to shake, sift, and made to wander to and fro. (They wandered to and fro - like the waxing and waning of the MOON -through the wilderness walk, being sifted by Satan).

Seir means devil. Remember Israel refused to enter the land when they arrived at Kadesh Barnea and was doomed to wandering 40 years through the wilderness before permission was again given to enter the land - Deuteronomy 1:19-26:

As Jahwah our Elohim commanded us, we set out from Horeb and went toward the hill country of the AMORITES through all that vast and dreadful wildness that you have seen, and so we reached Kadesh Barnea. Then I said to you: You have reached the hill country of the AMORITES, which Jahwah our Elohim is giving us. See JAHWAH YOUR ELOHIM HAS GIVEN YOU THE LAND. Arise and TAKE POSSESSION OF IT, as Jahwah, the Elohim of your fathers, told you. Do not be afraid; DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED… But you were unwilling to go up; you REBELLED against the command of Jahwah your Elohim.

All of us at various times in our walk with Jahwah become afraid and very discouraged. We may be afraid of keeping Jahwah’s appointed times for fear of being fired from our jobs, being ridiculed by the so-called Christians, or being separated from our family and friends. Believe me! All of the above will be encountered if one is truly walking with Jahshuwah through the Word. These encounters will often bring discouragement and even rebellion.

Continuing with Deuteronomy 1 verse 3:

In the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses proclaimed to the Israelites all that Jahwah had commanded him concerning them. This was AFTER HE HAD DEFEATED SIHON (the warrior to wipe or sweep away) king of the Amorites, who reigned/dwelled in HESBON (stronghold, to imagine, invent, contrive or reason out), and at EDREI (mighty power) had defeated OG (round) King of BASHAN (the ones asleep), who reigned/dwelled in ASHTAROTH (flock)19.

There is NO ENTERING into TRUE SUKKOT – the Feast of Tabernacles - until King Sihon of Hesbon is overcome. As an instrument of Satan, he has built a fortress around our MIND. You see, the mind controls our body; it is the seat of imagination and all reason. It continually reasons out and contrives ways not to obey the commands/Torah of Jahwah. It all started way back in the Garden of Eden. Jahwah gave Mr. & Mrs. Adam permission to eat of every delicious tree in the garden with one exception. They were forbidden to

eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil, i.e. decide what was right in their own eyes. In the day they ate of the tree, they would surely DIE. Instead of obeying Jahwah, they REASONED IT OUT IN THEIR MINDS that the only reason Jahwah didn’t want them to eat of the tree was because they would be as smart as Him. Well they were wrong, because death surely entered into the world after they partook of that tree. In Biblical symbolism, A ROUND CIRCLE denotes eternity. Those that aren’t inventing ways of outwitting Jahwah are simply SOUND ASLEEP. Og, king of Bashan, has MIGHTY POWER and rules over the FLOCK that sleeps on and on and on, right on into ETERNITY away from Jahwah .

We do not have to sit around and worry whether or not we can win this battle, as Jahwah has already fought the battle and has given us victory over King Sihon. Do you believe him or not? Remember Jahwah told the Israelites that he had given them victory over the land, but Israel refused to believe him the first time; thus they continued to wander through the wilderness for 40 years. Jahwah promises destruction of the Amorite (the wicked/lawless man) and deliverance of the land (the earth) into the hands of the overcomers: Deuteronomy 29:7 reveals that they were indeed defeated.

When you reached this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon (KING OF THE AMORITES), and Og the king of Bashan King of the Amorites, came out to fight against us, BUT WE DEFEATED THEM…

Again stated in Amos 2:9:

I destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was STRONG AS THE OAKS; yet I DESTROYED HIS FRUIT FROM ABOVE, and HIS ROOTS FROM BENEATH.

So why are the roots destroyed? - Because they have thrown away the Torah of Jahwah. And who is the Torah of Jahwah made flesh? - Jahshuwah!

Isaiah 5:24 & 25: Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their ROOT shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: BECAUSE THEY HAVE CAST AWAY THE TORAH OF JAHWAH OF APOINTED TIMES, and DESPISED THE WORD OF THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL. The Jews have corrupted and concealed the name of the Heavenly Father for thousands of years and continue this falsification to this very day, bringing forth the Tetragrammaton as Adonai, God, Lord, & Yahweh. Again and again Encyclopedias and Dictionaries – old and new – specify the 10th letter of the Hebrew alphabet – the jod - was originally brought into English as a CONSONANT i, never as a y. The y actually originated from the waw, the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet and NEVER was used to designate the jod. Since the i denoted both a vowel and a consonant, a tail was put on the i around the 16th-17th century to denote the i as being a consonant. The j is but a consonant i. If a V were to be used in the Tetragrammaton, the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet – the character bet - would have been used rather than the waw, the sixth letter.

Joshua demanded all Israel to choose between the god of the Amorites and Jahwah, the elohim of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob. He set up a set-time ordinance and a judgment at Shavuot to be that time of choosing. The Pillar of Witness was erected as a memorial of this event; it would be a witness against all that choose the god of the Amorites over Jahwah, thus bringing forth JUDGMENT. The Pillar of Witness was the original Bethel Stone, Jacob’s anointed pillar. Jacob began his journey to Haran from Beersheba, which pointed to the omer counting of weeks from Passover to Shavuot. On the way, Jacob stopped for the night during which he dreamed of a ladder dropping down from heaven with angels ascending and descending. This ladder denoted Jahshuwah the mediator between heaven and earth. When Jacob awoke, he realized he had encountered the very gate into heaven; thus he anointed the PILLAR STONE on which he slept and called it Bethel – the House of El. Jacob then made a covenant with Jahwah, which stated that if Jahwah would take care of him on his journey and bring him safely back to his Father’s house, the memorial pillar would be Jahwah’s house and he would double tithe unto Him.

As a part of his inheritance, Joseph received this Pillar of Witness, also called the Shepherd Rock of Israel, from Jacob on his deathbed. When Israel left Egypt, this Bethel Pillar traveled right along with them and was on many occasions the source of their water while journeying through the dry desert wilderness. This was verified by Paul writings in the Renewed Covenant. This very same Pillar of Witness was erected in the Land of Dabar as the place for choosing and crowning the kings of Israel. Jahwah has given us special instructions on what is to be done at the first three events upon entrance into the Land of the Living Word. At the first event of Jericho, the Moon City, the calendar of the Wilderness, which included a lunar year and the 7th day Sabbath of Saturday named after the seven planets, must be eliminated and Jahwah’s Creation Calendar established. The second battle takes place at the City of Ai; in order to win this battle, the tithes must be brought into Jahwah’s house. It must be without breach or there will be no victory at Ai. Right

Narrow Gate are established here at these mountains. Since Jericho fell on the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, it once again appears the Torah Covenant is erected on Shavuot.

Ainstructions gave Israel specific directions for setting up the covenant when they arrived in the land. These instructions were written down in the Book of Deuteronomy as a codicil to the covenant given at Mount Horeb. In this codicil, Jahwah reveals A SHOCKING THING: all through the wilderness walk, He had never given Israel eyes to see, ears to hear, or a mindunderstand His ways. This covenant was not only to be for those alive that day but also for those living in our time. Upon acceptinLand of the Living Word, all things change. It is not like our Wilderness Walk where we do what is right in our own eyes. Jahwah is king and watches over us throughout the year. The Blessings are erected upon Mount Gerizim, which is understood by the ancients to have communication with Heaven. On this mountain, raised bread is consumed and the elect are ableto stand up in Jahwah’s Word. They become the head instead of the tail. The journey through the wilderness is over therefore we enter the Narrow Gate that is concealed in Jahshuwah, the Divine Wisdom of the Torah. It is a covenant of GRACE with which the Body of Jahshuwahonce again receivJahwah completely – loving Him will all their heart and mind. They are given the priesthood and the Creation Calendar, the King of Kings, their rewards, double blessings, and the Son of the Right Hand, Jahshuwah. Ebal contains all that is FALSE and PERVERSE, including ALL FOREIGN GODS. It contall those that have attained POWER OVER by PRIDE and the LIFTING UP of oneself. It is themountain of serving the LUSTS OF THE FLESH by material increase. All on this mountain areserving and worshipping the gods of the Amorites and are judged solely on their WORKS. On this Mountain of Curses – the place of the WIDE GATE - an altar of stones engraved with the entire covenant is erected. These stones are the hardened hearts of the wicked that have norepented but continued in their wickedness. The blood sacrifices offered up on this altar are sacrifices of wicked men. The Renewed Covenant of Jahshuwah is to be written on the heart and on the mind. Those who have not entered the Body of Jahshuwah do not have the blood of covering of the Messiah, therefore the full weight of the Torah is written on their hearts and minds. They, in fact, become On this mountain, dwell all that have sold their FIRSTBORN inheritance for the lusts of the flesh, thus DOUBLE CURSES are poured out on the wicked.
