The First Causeway

.The whole complex of Angkor is about 1300m x 1500m (195h) equal 400football fields.

.The moat is 90 meters.

.The First causeway is 12 meters wide by 225 meters long and 7 meter indepth.

.It has one literate wall surrounded the temple (800 meters wide by 1025meters long).

.The first entry tower is 235 meters with 5 causeways:

-The 3 causeways were used for the Royal Family and high mandarins.

-The other 2 causeways were used for the people and animals.

.The second causeway is 9 meters wide by 350

meters long and 1.5 high..On the both sides of the second causeway we can

see two libraries which are in the shap of across and

symme r ca n p an..Not far from the libraries there are two basins(50x60

and 2m in depth):

-The left basin is always with water.-The right basin is usually dried in the dry season.
