THIRD ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF LIFEOn JUNE 17th, from 1 to 6 pm, Shane’s Future Days is hosting our 3rd annual CELEBRATION OF LIFE fundraiser at VE to raise money for rare cancer research in memory of our son Shane Metzgar. Tickets are $35.00 and include beer, wine, food and drink. All kids under 18 are free. There will be raffles, silent auctions, moon bounces, crafts, DJ and much more. SPORTS KORNER – “KICKS IN THE GRASS”Happy Father’s Day to all our soccer dads. As many of our teams are finalizing their Spring season, I want to take a moment to thank all the coaches and parents for all the hard work they put in to making our program what it is. I appreciate all the time and effort you put in to making our program one of the best non-township clubs in the region. Thanks to Rob Oldfield and Major’s Team Players who coordinated and conducted the Saturday mini-clinics for our Youth programs. Congratulations to Mike D’Angelo and Hugh McInaw, both former VE players, for being inducted into the Southeastern PA Soccer Hall of Fame.Registration for the July 24th to July 28th VE Summer Soccer Camp (Erzgebirge Academy) is available online at www.vesocceracademy.com.
