AGC's Installation Dinner- Monday, January 16, 2017 at the MarriottMarquis San Diego(Sponsored by Travelers Insurance & Willis Towers Watson)
During the last few years, nearly 500 AGC San Diego members and their guests have beenattending the Association's Annual Installation dinner. You may wonder why so many memberswould attend an event that has no entertainers, no dancing, and involves listening to speeches, watching members receive awards, and observing graduates of the AGC Apprenticeship Trustgraduate from their respective programs. Let us explain!!!
San Diego's construction industry does a fantastic job of supporting this Association. Each year, this event is an opportunity for the industry to hear the outgoing President's comments on theprogress of the AGC and the accomplishments of the industry during the past year. It is also anopportunity for the industry to hear the incoming President's vision for the industry during theupcoming year. Each member in the AGC is a major "stockholder" in the Association, and this isan opportunity to hear the results of your investment and to hear the expectations for the nextyear.
This year, AGC's 2016 President, Jon Cloud, of J. Cloud, Inc. will report on 2016, and AGC'sincoming 2017 President, Eric Stenman, Balfour Beatty Construction, will report on his visionfor the coming year.
You have a significant investment in this Association. It is important that you understand themessages these individuals have concerning the direction of the AGC.
The Installation Dinner will also acknowledge retiring AGC Committee Chairs and Board

Members. Individual members that were involved in leading the industry during the past year,as well as those firms awarded a variety of special awards presented by the Affiliate Council, the Specialty Contractors' Council, and the Technology Trends in ConstructionCommittee will be featured. In addition, we will be presenting the Annual Construction SafetyExcellence Awards.
Bottom line....this is an opportunity to give those in attendance a real "feel" for the San Diegoconstruction industry, and to give recognition to those that have volunteered to lead the industryin 2016 and in 2017.
This event is proudly sponsored by Travelers Insurance and Willis Towers Watson.
We depend on the support of companies like these for supplying the funds that we need tomake a difference in the quality of our events. It is very much appreciated!
