The Aurora conventional detector range has been designed to satisfy the highest demands of the installer, specifier and owner. Designed to the latest advanced in technology has minimised the number of active com-ponents. A custom ASIC provides superior and reliable detection performance whilst re-ducing the unwanted problems of false alarms. Aurora conventional detectors have been designed with a unique symmetrical chamber. The chamber ensures opti-mum air entry from all directions and offers im-munity to ambient light into the detector. The chamber also in- corporates a patented double dust trap which signifi- cantly reduces the en-try of unwanted airborne contami- nants. This design en-sures optimum performance and increases intervals between ser-vicing. Aurora conventional detector features:

The Aurora family is complete with a wide range of detector bases. Both standard and deep bases are available with a wide range of resistors and schotty diode. The BLR100 is a 12-24vDC relay base which can be directly connected to a 12v security sys-tem.

The CA100 conduit adaptor can be used together with the DBS100 deep base when a surface conduit installation is required.

DC100 dust covers are separately and provide a protective cover to avoid contamination during in-stallation.

CP100 resettable call point

A resettable manual call point designed in accordance with EN54-11. The device can be flush or surface mounted.
