The Aurora Groups aim is to discover high-value mineral deposits in order to create wealth for itsshareholders.
The Company is currently focussed on projects which it considers are prospective for base metals, uranium, gold, nickel, PGE and iron-ore.
All exploration requires funding and the Aurora Group has developed policies covering a range of fundingoptions, often depending upon market conditions and perceptions.
Much of the Aurora Group’s proposed future exploration programs are dependent on it having sufficientfunding.
After acquisition of a tenement or tenement application it is generally ranked. Those tenements selectedfor the Aurora Group’s exploration portfolio are: considered for inclusion in its exploration budget fordirect exploration by Aurora; considered to be offered for joint venture or sale to a third party (thus savingAurora exploration funds); or considered for spin-off into an IPO, with Aurora retaining equity in the newentity(thus saving Aurora exploration funds); with a view to maximizing value for the Company.
Tenements which are not considered to be within the Company’s requirements, or which it considers itwould have difficulty funding will be earmarked for relinquishment.
On occasions, if there are funding constraints, the Aurora Group may deem it necessary or prudent todispose of tenements which it believes would be too expensive to keep or explore, notwithstanding thatsuch tenements may remain prospective for minerals.

The information in this presentation that relates to Exploration Results, Mineral Resources or Ore Reserves is based on information compiled by Dr Robert S Taylor, a Member of The Institute of Materials, Minerals
and Mining and Mr. Garry P O’Hara, a corporate member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Robert Taylor and Garry O’Hara are both executive directors of Aurora Minerals Limited and Desert Energy Limited and consult to the Companies through their respective consulting companies Able Kids Pty Ltd and
Anketell Pty Ltd.
Robert Taylor and Garry O’Hara have sufficient experience which is relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity which they are undertaking to qualify as
Competent Persons as defined in the 2004 Edition of the ‘Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves’. Robert Taylor and Garry O’Hara consent to the inclusion in
the presentation of the matters based on his information in the form and context in which it appears.
The Companys’ websites (www.auroraminerals.com and www.desertenergy.com.au) are recommended reading for interested market watchers, brokers and investors. The websites contain information on the
