REGULATIONS1. The Competition is sanctioned by the French-speaking Tennis Association and theRoyal Belgian Tennis Federation and will be conducted under the R.B.T.F. Rules.

2. The Tournament is accepted by the International Tennis Federation. It is part of theITF Junior Circuit and is listed in Group 1. It will be played in accordance with theRules and Regulations of the ITF Junior Circuit.

3. The Tournament will be played from Monday, May 28 to Saturday, June 2, 2018.The matches will be played on 8 clay courts.

4. The Championships will include 4 events :A. Boys’ Singles B. Girls’ SinglesC. Boys’ Doubles D. Girls’ Doubles

5. Only players who were born between January 1st, 2000 and December 31st,2005 may compete. Players may not participate in any ITF Junior Tournamentunless they have reached their thirteenth (13) birthday before the start of the maindraw.

6. Each National Association or Federation can nominate boys and girls and acaptain or manager.

The players will be accepted according to their rankings, both the ITF Junior WorldRanking and the ATP and WTA rankings.

7. Up to 48 boys and 48 girls will be accepted in each singles event.

8. 6 wild cards will be given in boys’ and girls’ singles at the discretion of theCommittee.

9. Singles qualifying competitions will be played on Saturday and Sunday,May 26-27, 2018

6 places in the boys’ singles event and 6 places in the girls’ singles event will beallocated to qualifiers. Two places are reserved for Special Exempts and two placesare also reserved for 16 and under Feed Up Exempts in the singles main drawevents.

10. Singles matches will be played best of three sets, with tie-break at six games allin any set. Doubles matches will be two tie-break sets and a match tie-break(10 point) in place of a third set. No-ad scoring will be used.For all singles and doubles matches the no let rule shall be in effect.

11. All competitors must arrive on Sunday May 27 (except those who must competein the qualifying event, and who must arrive on Friday May 25 by 6:00 pm), the firstsingles matches beginning on Monday May 28 at 9.30 a.m. and doubles matchesin the afternoon. The 48 boys and 48 girls in the final draw and the captains ormanagers officially nominated by their Federation (maximum 2) and who have avalid Player Support Team ID will receive full hospitality from Sunday May 27 inthe afternoon till after elimination from singles and/or doubles main draws.

12. Any player and any player support team member shall be bound by and shall com-ply with the provisions of the ITF Welfare Policy.

13. The referee will be the only judge making any decision for the progress of theTournament. He will decide to play indoors if required.

14. During the matches, the captains or managers will not be allowed on the courts.

15. The Championships will be patronized by the Royal Belgian Tennis Federation andthe Town of Charleroi.

16. Practice will be available for all players at the club and on the clay courts at seve-ral neighbouring clubs.

17. The ITF Junior Circuit Code of Conduct will be in force at the tournament.

18. Only the official stringer is allowed on site.

19. Entry fees : Main draw : 65 US Dollars. Qualifying : 15 US Dollars.Singles entries close May 1 at 14:00 hrs GMTDoubles entries close May 28, 2018 at 12:00 Noon on site.1 st round doubles matches starting on Monday afternoon.

20. The deadline for withdrawal without incurring any penalty is thirteen days prior tothe Monday of the tournament week, i.e. May 15, 2018.

21. To be allowed to compete, all players must have an IPIN and pay the Annual IPINMembership Fee. To register for an IPIN please go to www.itftennis.com/IPIN

22. All entries and withdrawals must be submitted online through the official IPINservice or by fax on the official entry or withdrawal form and sent to the ITF.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS :From Brussels. Competitors should take a train to Charleroi Station. One train every hour,and the journey takes about 50 minutes. Transport is provided from Charleroi Stationas long as competitors telephone to the Club (071 36 59 71).Roland Garros is only about two and a half hours ’drive away.
