costumes!
Thanks to your generosity, you raised a wonderful 562.71!!

Week Commencing 24th March 2014
-
Create It IT Awards
A huge Well Done to Sienna Dudley and Charlotte Monk (Ash Class) for being runners up in the KS2
Animation Category of the above awards.
This is an excellent result as the competition is open to all of Shropshire and not just Shrewsbury.
Fantastic result girls!
Firstly, thank you to everyone who brought in their Bags2School charity bags last week. We will let you know
how much was raised when we are given a final figure.
URGENT REQUEST! Following the recent storms, our Forest Friends shed became very unstable. We
need a small team of helpers to move and reinforce the shed so that it can be used again to store necessary
equipment. Forest Friends is a very worthwhile scheme, coordinated by Miss Goodall, and which helps our
children enjoy the outdoors. The scheme will be limited without storage space for equipment. The shed was
very kindly donated by B & Q in Shrewsbury and constructed by parents and staff volunteers so lets not let
all our hard work go to waste!
Could we ask that you let the office know or e mail [email protected] if you are willing and able to
spare a morning to help. No special skills required!
Many thanks for your support.

been posted on our school website. You can find this either under the News heading on the right
hand side of the home page, or under Information for Parents tab on the left hand side of the
page.
Gardening Club
This Club is usually open to Yr 2 children only. However, we are, this term, opening it up to KS2 as
a whole. If you would like a place in this Club (spaces are limited) please call to the school office
for a permission slip. The Club donation remains at 2.00 for the term. Please can you hand the
completed/signed permission slip directly at the school office. Thank you!
Muscial News!
I would like to say Well Done to the children from Elm and Sycamore classes who performed the
Water concert recently and to the Choir, who performed Hoodwinked. Both occasions were
extremely enjoyable and the children made me very proud indeed, so, thank you children and well
done again!
