The Transfer Center is available 24 hours a day to facilitate inpatient transfers from another healthcare facility toUCLA Health System. The referring facility or physician should contact the UCLA Transfer Center as soon as itbecomes evident that the patient might require transfer. To facilitate the referral process, we request that you havethe patient’s medical, demographic and insurance information readily available.

Reimbursement arrangements for services that are provided by a UCLA physician who does not participate inUCLA Medical Group must be negotiated directly with that physician’s office.
