It may seem impossible to get behind al the modern denominations and be just a Christian as they were in the first century, but it can and should be done. Sticking to the Bible alone as the guide is possible. If a person followed the Bible alone in the first century (at least the oral information of it), what denomination would it form? It would only make Christians then or now. No Baptists, Catholics, Presbyterians, Methodist, Lutherans, Mormons, or Jehovah's Witnesses. Just Christians.
