Jeep is a brand of off-road cars created by the
Willys-Overland company in 1941, and is now a
division of Chrysler Group LLC, a consolidated
subsidiary of the Italian multinational
manufacturer Fiat.
There are several versions about the origin of the
name "Jeep". The most accepted cartoon comes
from the 1930s, Popeye the Sailor, which featured
a character named Eugene the Jeep, a yellow pet
like a dog, with supernatural powers and US
soldiers attributed these powers to the Jeep.
During world war II; this version is accompanied
by a less imaginative, which attributes the name
to the acronym GP, General Purpose, under which
the US military called the contest to stock a small
four-wheeled utility vehicle. The reason why these
versions are confused and is finally being debated
by the way as it is written: It is said that the name
Jeep is the reduced pronunciation of the acronym
GP, ie, Pi Yi. However, as the character Popeye the
Sailor Jeep used the name as the brand name is
written, and also this nice character only
communicated by repeating "jeep jeep" finally is
usually attributed to him the origin of first name.
The motors gasoline are four cylinders in line of
2,5 liters and between 105 and 125 hp, high
output V6 engine of 2.8 liters and 115 hp (86 kW)
4800 rpm, and high duty engine six-cylinder 4.0-
liter and 197 hp. The Diesel is a 2.1 liter Renault
origin and a 2.5-liter 116 hp produced by VM
Motori, both with four-cylinder, indirect injection
and turbocharger. This second generation had no
impact on the public and was not generous sales
compared with the Ford Explorer, Jeep that
undertook the project of the Grand Cherokee in
1992 larger than the Cherokee and less than the
Ford Explorer.
XJ platform provided the basis for the Jeep
Comanche, long and short box versions
manufactured between 1986-1992 4.0-liter high
output.

Dodge was a part of DaimlerChrysler AG, based in Stuttgart (Germany). Since 2005, the Dodge brand has been known for its SUVs, which comprise 78% of division sales. Dodge tries to change this with the introduction of the new Dodge Charger and the Dodge Challenger.
The Dodge brand was reintroduced in Europe in 2006. Currently the Dodge Viper SRT-10 (sold as Dodge SRT-10 in the UK), Dodge Ram and Dodge Caliber are the only Dodge vehicles in that market. The Dodge Nitro and Dodge Avenger began selling in mid-2007.Dodge recently re-entered the Australian market in 2006 after an absence of 30 years. Dodge Australia plans are to release a new model every six months over the next three years, plans to attract interest in the brand. Engine
To begin, let's define what most people understand by car. The strict meaning of the word, means "that moves by itself, without external intervention."
But for example, for Spanish Road Safety Act in Annex definition, a car has, besides, other features, such as excluding this category to special purpose vehicles. Personally, I prefer the first definition.
Moving on, say that among the different kinds of engines out there, we will take care of thermal and within these, of two and four times that use gas as fuel-Olina (motors) or gas oil ( combustion engines).
These engines base their operation on the expansion, sudden, a mixture of fuel and air in a small, enclosed area. This expansion can be explosion or combustion as in the case of a gas engine or diesel-olina. To accomplish that, the fuel must be mixed with air before entering the cylinder engines or gas-olina once inside in the gas oil in a proportion, about, 10,000 liters of air per 1 of fuel.
