The Hood

The Hood was a famous British warship, it waslaunched in 1920 and was named for Lord Samuel Hood. On May 24,1941, the Hood foughtagainst the German ships the Bismarck and thePrinz Eugen with the help of the HMS Prince of Wales. After an initial exchange of gunfire theHood was struck and sank.
