TRANSCRIPT
The Board of Trustees of the University of Central Arkansas con-vened in regular meeting on Wednesday morning, March 29, 1978, at teno'clock on the campus in Conway, Arkansas, with the following officersand members of the Board present, to-wit:
Chairman: Mr. Bill JohnsonChairperson Elect: Mrs. Charles E. HammansSecretary: Mr. Charles R. Dixon

and with the following absent, to-wit:
None
constituting a quorum of said Board, at which meeting the following busi-ness was transacted, to-wit:
Minutes of the last meeting were approved as written.

Mrs. Hammans made a motion that the Revised State DesegregationPlan be approved with the proviso that Dr. Farris write the Board of HigherEducation that approval is contingent upon the University of Arkansas at PineBluff being required to follow the same procedure as other institutions in ob-taining permission to offer new graduate programs. A second to this motionwas made by Mr. Dixon and passed by unanimous vote.
Motion was made by Mr. Ahlf, seconded by Dr. Johnson and passedby unanimous vote that the food service contract with ARA Food Services benegotiated for another year.
Mr. Ahlf made a motion that the following room and board rates be-come effective the fall semester, 1978:
Dormitory without A/C without private bath--15 meals per week--$125 per pay period,
Dormitory without A/C without private bath--21 meals per week--$130 per pay period,
Dormitory without A/C with private bath--15 meals per week--$130 per pay period,
Dormitory without A/C with private bath--21 meals per week--$135 per pay period,
Dormitory with A/C with private bath--21 meals per week--$140 per pay period, and
Dormitory with A/C with private bath--15 meals per week--$135 per pay period.
A second to this motion was made by Mrs. Hammans and passed by unanimousvote.
Mr. Jones requested the administration of the university to investi-gate the possibility of refinancing the dormitory bonds. The current bondretirement is based on a 90 per cent occupancy rate which now appears un-realistic.
Upon motion made by Mr. Dixon, seconded by Dr. Sneed, and passedby unanimous vote, executive session was declared to consider personnel.
Mr. Dixon made a motion that the following faculty be recognized ashaving earned tenure:
