A Human Being Does Not Live Forever Because:

The Body will eventually die and return to the dust of the earth.

Ecclesiastes 12:7: 7Then shall the dust (out of which God made man's body) return to the earth as it

was, and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it.

The Soul = man's inner person = Consciousness = Mind, Emotion, Will = YOU! survives death.

Matthew 10:28: 28And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; but rather be

afraid of Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell (Jesus referred to Hell as the "Gehennaof fire," into which "both body and soul" will be cast).

Life is like a canvas, your soul is the brush and the events that you encounter throughout the years and how

you interact with them is the paint. When you pass on, this picture is the only thing that leaves with you. It

is you who must account for this painting, because you are the artist and the picture is you.

The spirit(life force) returns to God from whence it came.

    Ecclesiastes 12:7:7

Then shall the dust (out of which God made man's body) return to the earth as it was, andthe spirit shall return to God Who gave it.

The Body Is Formed From The Elements Of The Earth.

Genesis 3:19: 19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it

wast thou taken: fordust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Ecclesiastes 3:20: 20All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

According to Encyclopaedia Wilkipedia the human body's chemical composition consists of a variety of

elements and compounds. By mass, human cells consist of 6590% water (H2O), and a significant portion iscomposed of carbon-containing organic molecules. Oxygen therefore contributes a majority of a human body

mass, followed by carbon. 99% of the mass of the human body is made up of the six elements oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus.

    More precisely: Oxygen = 65%, Carbon = 18%, Hydrogen = 10%, Nitrogen = 3%, Calcium = 1.5%,Potassium = 0.2%, Sulphur = 0.2%, Chlorine = 0.2%, Sodium = 0.1%, Magnesium = 0.05%, Iron = 3.9

grams in men and 2.3 grams in women, Cobalt, Copper, Zinc, Iodine < 0.05 %, Selenium, Fluorine < 0.01 %.

Other elements necessary for human life are manganese, molybdenum, nickel, small amounts of chromium

and boron. The elements needed for life are relatively common in the Earth's crust, and conversely

most of the common elements are necessary for life. An exception is aluminum, which is the third mostcommon element in the Earth's crust(afteroxygen and silicon), but seems to serve no function in living cells.

    Rather, it is harmful.

Besides these elements that are necessary for life, our bodies contain trace quantities of most other elements, including some that are harmful, such as mercury, cadmium, and lead.

Our Human Body Is A Body Of Dishonour.

Philippians 3:21: 21Who will transform and fashion anew thebody of our humiliation to conform to and be

like the body ofHis glory and majesty, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything

    to Himself.

The Apostle Paul tells us that our fleshly body is a body of humiliation (shame, embarrassment or dishonor)

and that it belongs to humble, lowly or vile state. Being made from dust, this is indeed the case. It is the

lowest and most base of the three parts that make up man (spirit, soul and body.)

Although The Human Body Is Of A Lowly State, It Is Fearfully And Wonderfully

    Made.

Psalm 139:14:14I will praise thee; forI am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; andthat my soul (me, I) knoweth right well.

To appreciate how wonderfully and intricately the human body is constructed, we must take a trip down tothe molecular level via the electron microscope. Here we find cell adhesion molecules called Laminins.

According to Encyclopedia Wilkipedia, Laminins are a family of proteins that are a vital part of thestructural scaffolding of basement membranes in almost every tissue. Literally they are cell adhesionmolecules. They are what holds one cell of our bodies to the next cell. Without them, we would literally fall

apart. Ok, we know what Laminins do but what do they look like?

If you look up laminin in any scientific/medical piece of literature, this is what you will see....

The adhesive that holds us together.... ALL of us.... Is in the shape of the cross. The exact shape which

centuries later would be the vehicle upon which Christ would die so that all who would so choose could

return to God. Laminins seem to foreshadow the cross and it's purpose from the time of creation. Not only dothey bind each of us together as individuals, but their cross shape serves as a reminder that we are from God

and that He will bind us to Himself through his Son Jesus Christ who died on a cross. God left His marker

(precursor) in each one of usChrist paid the debt and all we have to do is accept the gift. How marvellous.

Colossians 1:15-17:15 He (Christ) is the exact (spiritual) likeness of the unseen God (the visiblerepresentation of the invisible); He (Christ) is the Firstborn of all creation. 16For it was in Him (Christ) that

all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions,

rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him (by His service, intervention) and in and

for Him. 17And He Himself existed before all things, and IN HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST(stick together, are held together, go together).

Have you ever noticed that when you are standing erect with your legs together and

arms outstretched that you make the shape of a CROSS. Interesting eh!
