Summer meal wind down
The Summer meals program ends on
August 19th at 1p.m.
Your resident Service Coordinator is

I hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful days
of summer before they are all gone. Some things
to do might include a joyride on the Connecticut
Fast Track to visit new sites or to visit a friend.
Exploration isn’t the only exciting thing taking
place this summer. Many of our properties have
seen improvements since spring has arrived, and
work is still ongoing. The staff and maintenance department certainly
deserve great appreciation for all the hard work they do daily. Please
remember, the City of Bristol has passed an ordinance concerning the
removal of shopping carts from businesses. Failure to oblige with this
ordinance is grounds for a fine. As residents, please let's join together and
try to keep the property neat and safe for all to enjoy. Please do not
hesitate to contact me with your comments or suggestions at
[email protected]. You may also send correspondence to me at:
David Godin, Bristol Housing Authority, 164 Jerome Ave., Bristol, CT

Improvements Continue for families A number of improvements are taking place on several Bristol Housing Authority properties. The improvements are both energy-efficient and aesthetically pleasing. These photos show some recent upgrades made to Zbikowski Park, an affordable housing development.
It’s all fun and games
Reading and kickball, and art, oh my! A few photos of the kids in action
this summer. Special thanks to HAI Group for hosting sport activities
each week on the field and for sponsoring this year’s poster contest and to
Heather, our WOW Mobile librarian, who visited Cambridge Park every
Tuesday and Thursday.
