Or as some say, the holi-daze...

There’s no doubt that December is a favorite month for many people. In Key Club, especially, December means writing cards to children in hospitals, caroling at nursing homes, and helping out at winter-themed events. The holidays always strike up an environment of giving--with all the presents and what not.

However, while I want to encourage Key Clubbers to take advantage of this altruistic feeling, please also try to give your time and efforts equally as much when it isn’t the holiday season, too! Any time of the year can give you a reason to serve, and it’s in fact those times that non-profits and other charity organizations actually need the most help. So keep up the spirit of the holidays! I hope all of

you will have a wonderful winter break and come back to school, ready to serve!

DIvision 21’s long-term goals are to have all 12 clubs in their area have active status, be efficient in fundraising and awareness for Key Club International’s Major Emphasis projects as well as Pacific Northwest District’s projects, and have complete communication between all clubs regardless of distance.

However, our biggest goals are those stated by Key Club International:To provide service, build character, and develop leadership.

DUES FAQ and UpdateHave my dues been processed?

* So far, in the Key Club international database, these dues been processed: Jackson, Kamiak, Mariner, Meadowdale, and Snohomish.

How many of our division’s clubs dues have been processed?

* 5 clubs out of our 12 have been processed.

How many dues do we still need paid?

* We need at least 4 more clubs processed to secure our spot in the Grand Ballroom at DCON.

How long do dues take to process?

* Kiwanis International dues have taken priority over Key Club Internationals, so it is hard to say when all sent dues will be completely processed.

What if I haven’t paid my dues to my club yet?

* Talk to your officers and ask them when their next set of dues will be sent to Key Club International.

November DCM Recap

Nearly 40 Key Clubbers came to the Lynnwood

Library on November 16th to make and

decorate gift boxes for Project Shoebox.

Thanks so much for coming, bumblebees! We

had an excellent turn out, and I can’t wait to

see you all at the LTG Election Rally!

Ask not what your club can do for you, ask what you can do for your club!

there ought to be as many for love.”
