Stephanie Mayer’s favorite pie is fresh apple pie with vanilla ice cream on the side. While being an advocate of desserts, she currently is experimenting with the use of capers in dishes. As a senior at Car-leton College, she is able to cook, climb trees, be in the art studio at

weird hours of the night, and host all-campus dress up days. A lover of vivid and rich colours, she is proud of this book.

Elizabeth Tan is a junior Cinema and Media Studies major from the little island of Singapore. She has always dreamt of

becoming a children’s book illustrator as she continues to doodle for gifts. Her favorite pie is the classic apple pie, although she has re-

cently discovered strawberry and rhubarb pie too. She is not fond of almonds, golden or otherwise.

Katie Williams is a junior French major from Kent, Ohio. She attends Carleton College, in Northfield, Minnesota, and likes to play in the

snow when she doesn’t have work to do. She also enjoys curling up on the couch with hot chocolate, and occasionally knits scarves. Her

favorite kind of pie is peach pie, which she eats with ice cream.
